Throw away your legos and scrap lumber! This is the best
I used to level my pop up with graduated stacks of wood. Proceedure - Back into site. Lug out my wood ramp. Get splinters. Cuss. pull forward onto ramp. Cuss some more becuase the ramp is moving. You get the idea...
No more. Now I just back into position. Place the BAL Leveler under the low side tire and turn the drive screw with the wrench provided. viola. Camper is now level.
I have used this device for over two years now and average 10 trips per year. Not one problem. I now use my DeWalt 987 cordless drill to raise and lower the BAL Leveler, the roof of my Coleman Utah and the BAL stabilizers. Just be sure to keep the drive screw well greased.

Works great only if you have a light trailer
I bought this and the 3rd time using it the gears stripped on the drive screw/trunnion (the thing the screw spins in to lift it). Loved it up until that point, but we were left with an uneven camper for the trip. We have a Rockwood 276HW, so if you have something like this get something else. Guessing it works fine on a small pop up. I only used the wrench and cranked by hand. They need to have a weight limit on the box, but that would decrease their sales!
Called the company to see if they would send me replacement parts but all they said is I could buy them. Have had a hard time finding them even with the part numbers.

Fast instant leveling
This tire leveler works good for a one axel travel trailer. The leveler slips under the tire and in about a minute you have the trailer exactly level side to side. No more blocks under the wheel needed.
Cons: I had one major problem with tire leveler, the leveler is only desiigned to fit
under a 13 inch tire, but it would not even fit under my 13 inch tire on my trailer. I had to use another jack to bend the openeing apart so it would fit. If not for this one flaw I would give this 5 stars.

Jacked
When I first got this I thought it was the greatest time saving leveler ever. It kept my wife and I from arguing from the camper to the truck while trying to back onto wood, it was safe and pretty easy to haul around...BUT then it showed its true colors. We went out for a three day weekend, and when it was time to lower the unit, it somehow got bound up and the top "Nut" began to twist, so I could not lower the camper. I ended up having to pull out my 2 ton jack (thank God I had it), jack up my camper then remove the leveler so I could get my camper back down on the ground. I would have thought that it would have been a one piece design, so this could not happen. My advice is to have the top nut welded into place, and always take a jack with you!

Good design but won't work with 15 wheels
I agree with the first reviewer who said it didn't work well with 15 inch wheels. If you use it on concrete or some other paved surface you can slip the leveler under the wheel, barely! If however your camper is on grass, or any other unpaved surface, it's a struggle to get it in
place without digging out around it, which is more trouble then it's worth. I have a 17' Caita travel trailer with 15 inch wheels. I plan on returning this leveler next time I go back to Camping Word.

BAL Trailer Leveler
We've been using this leveler since last Nov and so far it has been great for a quick leveling job.
Only twice did I have to dig out around the tire to slide it under and this is one of the down sides..(Casita 17' standard issue is Goodyear Marathon Radial ST205/75R14). The leveler is just a little too narrow. But this only happens in soft soil....
If it fit my tire better I would rate the leveler with 4 stars and if it wasn't so bulky and heavy it would get a 5 star rating..

Great Product!
I have a Starcraft 2406. This product is very easy to use and a dramatic improvement over leveling blocks. Simply position your pop-up trailer where you want in your campsite, place this device around the tire on the low side, and crank it up. To speed the process, I use a Makita cordless drill with a 3/4 socket. When I get close to level, I use the wrench that came with the leveler. I can easily and quickly get the trailer perfectly level...and no blocks to slip off!

Yes s it ok to use the BAL on 12” tires?
This leveler can be used on tires mounted to a 12" wheel as long as the overall tire diameter is larger than 20-1/4". Keep in mind, that the range of lift is going to be less on a smaller tire as the leveler will be raised more initially to capture the tire versus a larger tire & wheel combo.

Do you need to chock the other wheel when using this?
I always chock both sides. If your trailer moves you can break off your stabilizer jacks (i've seen that happen).

Can you use two on a tandem axles, if they fit side to side
We have a passport 2400BH that has a larger spacing between the axles.
While these levelers are ideal for light weight trailers or pop-ups. If you don't exceed the 1,700 lb. limit and have the space to place two of these side by side, yes it can work for your trailer.
