Level and stabilize your trailer or 5th wheel with the best manual leveling system money can buy.

Leveling jacks provide leveling and stabilizing for travel trailers and fifth wheels. Two models extend from 4" to 23-3/4", and one model extends to 30". Given the broad range of ground-to-frame clearance, there's a BAL leveling jack for almost every RV.

Rust-inhibitive E-coating on the jack and shiny zinc coating on the crank handle ensure long life.

Mounting hardware is included; jacks may be welded to trailer frame.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Scissor jacks Stabilizing System I did not realize how big and heavy these scissor jacks were when I ordered them. I wanted trailer stabilizing jacks. However these jacks are stronger, heavier and bigger than my other trailer jacks and I can not use them.. The specs in the write-up do not describe the item very well. The description matches that of the smaller jack. The jacks are heavy to handle and carry around. They had been shipped in their normal store retail box. When the jacks arrived, they had broken thru and were coming out of the store retail box which they had been shipped in due to their weight . Only recommend them if you want really heavy jacks to carry a heavy load..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Last year I bent one of the original stabilizers, and when looking at it afterwards, I realized they are very flimsy stabilizers that come with new campers. So I bought one set of these to see how they are built. Found out they're probably twice the thickness and weigh a lot more. Oh my goodness are they sturdy, strong and well worth the money! I am online now to buy another set for the replacement on the rear. You won't be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scissor Jacks Stabilizers Received the products on time. Package was intact. I'm a 1st time RV owner, so I depended on the others reviews to buy these stabilizers. Took about 30 minutes to install. Removed the two bolts that held the old jacks and used the new bolts to replace the new jack stabilizers. They were an exact replacement. I plan on buying another set to replace the back stabilizer in the near future. The jack handle fitting for the new stabilizers is different, so unless you change all four stabilizers, you'll have two jack stabilizer handles. One for the old and one for the new. Overall, great products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Jacks I bought these as replacements for another set of jacks which were OEM on a 2002 trailer I had purchased. These are much more rugged and were easy to install without removing existing brackets which were welded to the frame. The handle has a socket end which allows the handle to be moved in a 360 degree circle to make using it easier. i.e., the handle has allowances so you do not have to get on the ground directly in line with the nut. You can bend over or move side to side to get into the best position to crank the jack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacks and some installation help We purchased 4 jacks to put under our 32 foot bumper pull trailer. The trailer has two slide-outs on one side and always leaned to the side when the slide-outs are out. The front and back stabilizer jacks on the trailer did not help level the trailer side to side, so we wanted to add these jacks under the frame on both sides to be able to level the trailer properly. With two jacks under the frame on both sides we can now get the trailer level before putting the slides out, and it stays level when the slides are out. Now the trailer is level and solid as a rock when all set up. The jacks are great and easy to use. They retract up close to the frame and there is no risk of hitting something with the jacks when traveling. We use a battery powered drill and a socket to raise and lower the jacks quickly. The instructions for installing the jacks are not good. The instructions tell you to extend the jack under the frame and use the mounting holes for the jack as a guide to drill the screw holes. That sounds OK, but is not as easy to do as it sounds; the holes have to be accurate or you cannot get the screws into the drilled holes. I installed one jack trying to do it that way and got very frustrated. For the next three, I used a drill guide that I made from a scrap of lumber. I was able to do all of the last three in less time than the first one. Once you have determined where the jacks will mount and the set of holes on the mounting flanges of the jack you will use, you can make a simple drill guide. I used the four mounting holes in the center of the flanges. If you use a different set of mounting holes, make a drill guide for that pattern. The jacks were attached to the underside of the I-beam frame sides. The length of the wooden drill guide was the same as the width of the mounting flanges of the jack. I aligned the side of the wooden guide with the edge of the frame and then clamped it to the frame with a C-clamp. With the wooden guide clamped in place, it was easy to drill the four pilot holes. Then, remove the guide and drill the finish holes for the mounting screws. Start one screw into a mounting hole in the frame and then take it out. Put the jack in place and line up the hole you just started the screw in, put in the first screw and tighten until the screw is almost all the way in, but the jack can still be moved so you can line up another screw and install it. That way you are not struggling to keep everything held up in place and align mount holes with screw holes and turn a wrench all while lying on your back underneath your RV. Finish all of the screws and tighten; all done. Move to the next jack location and repeat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality, Easy to Use I had bought a set of inexpensive (cheap) leveling jacks for my wobbly Class C and was not at all happy with them. On a trip to CW I was talking with one of the floor people about the jacks and he recommended the BAL's. I bought one set as a trial, set them up on my next trip and used them on the back of the Class C. The difference was noticeable. They're much higher quality than the affordable jacks I had used before, no sway or wobble, the jack handle worked very well, although I highly recommend the Speed Socket and I have a high ground clearance rig and they are very stable at high extension. I've used them for several months now and will have them welded in place. I've been able to use just the one set on the back on my 20 footer and am very pleased with the quality of workmanship.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use and convenient I have 2 sets on my TT, both sides front and back, and they are so easy to use. I rigged up a portable drill to screw them out, and I put a single 2X6 board under them and zip, i've leveled and stabilized my rig. I only with they were a little wider, as in some cases, I have to use more boards under them so they aren't extended too far. If you do, it will level but won't stabilize, as they are too skinny. Otherwise, on close to level or low ground, they are great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from look well made, but crank is next to useless system seems well built, happy that it is USA made, I bought 2 sets. but whoever designed the hand crank, should go back to school. there is so little leverage, that for me it is pretty useless. I am average guy. I can't imagine, weaker folk, being able to use these cranks. I wound up using the lug wrench from my mini van. I suppose I will go out and buy a larger lug wrench. reason for 3 stars, it will cost me more for a wrench. otherwise I would have gave 4.5 stars.

How do they mount to your camper

Asked by: Steve
You can bolt or weld this jack directly to the frame of a camper. The top of the jack has pads with factory drilled holes for bolts and is the most common way to install said jack.

Is this jack a replacement for a J-2500?

Asked by: Anonymous
We are unable to cross reference a scissor jack by the model number 'J-2500'. This jacks from BAL are 23-3/4" in height when fully extended and has a 7500 lb. capacity per jack. A diagram for mounting hole dimensions can be viewed here. These jacks use the 'Classic' mount pattern.
