Additional Information
Designed for ultimate convenience for cooking on outdoor adventures, the BioLite KettlePot Camp Cooking Kettle cooks like a pot, pours like a kettle, and carries almost like nothing's there. The ultra-thin stainless steel body is lightweight, durable, and safer than anodized aluminum cookware. For superior cooking, the honeycomb heat shield at the bottom concentrates flames and blocks wind and the BPA-free, high-temp top lets you see what you're cooking, know when it's ready, and pour it smoothly. Vertical cook touch handles ensures easy handling and pouring, with a silicone seal that keeps liquids secure for spill-free pouring. When empty, serves a double-function as a carrying case for the BioLite CampStove (sold separately). Includes: stainless steel pot, kettle lid, and stuff sack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tip of the hat Thanks to the fulfillment team. The lid of my kettle pot broke awhile back and it took some doing to find the right person but a new lid was received the other day and another BSA campout with coffee was enjoyed. A few of the BSA leadership have been coming by a camp for a couple of years, nosing for a cup of Joe knowing that 525 always has a warm cup of coffee first thing. All because the bio stove/kettle pot is the best thing for cooking and heating. Kudo's. Monthly user 3rd year and going strong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with the portable stove. Great product, Works great with the portable stove. Heats fast, fantastically portable. The only draw back is that you have to be careful where you place the lid, because you cant order just the lid if it breaks, (or melts). It would be great if you could order replacement parts instead of a whole new kettle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pot, missing one thing Fantastic pot, heats water quickly, fits on stove perfectly; however, it could use both oz & ml markings on the inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Biolite companion This kettle is a great addition for a trip with the Biolite. I'm stubborn when it comes to changing my backpacking gear but this was an easy decision. The KettlePot is a great multitasker in that it protects the Biolite in transit and illuminates my bulky camping pot. I made one improvement by taping a 5.25" X 16" (133.35mm X 406.4mm) piece of corrugated cardboard (from a pizza box) to help retain heat and reduce boiling time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kettle Pot and Camp Stove a Great Match I just finished a 4 day grueling, but awesome, backpacking hike on the 76 mile SC Foothills Trail with a 35 lb. pack. I hiked 17 miles each day for 3 days and did the last day of 25 miles in 18 hrs. I'm 5'3", 135 lbs. I'm 65 years old. I took my BioLite Camp Stove and Kettle Pot. One criticism I heard about the stove was that it was too heavy to back pack. I agree there are lighter alternatives but not that much lighter considering the fuel and cooking pot you have to pack. I did not want to carry fuel for 5-6 potential days. I love the versatility of having an off grid fuel source without worrying about fuel spills. Fuel gets expensive and you have to pack out empty containers. I cooked 2 meals a day and never had to worry about running out of fuel. Since the stove only uses a very small amount of twigs to cook a meal I would pick up a few on the trail when rain was in the forecast. The Kettle Pot is a must. It fits so well on the stove, is protected from wind with it's design, it heats water/food quickly and you can drink out of it because the top stays cool. I have recommended the camp stove a dozen times and I always recommend the pot with it as a must!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from simple and works well Good size, rugged, easy to clean. I have only used the kettle pot in winter conditions so far. It works great. Stable, efficient and safe. Does not add much weight or size to the pack when nested with the biolite stove and there is a bit of room in the system for matches and an emergency fire starter. Its also easy to clean. The baffle on the bottom is a great wind break and it also detects flair-ups away from the power pack and user if you get a little carried away with the birch bark :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Five stars all around I got both the biolite camp stove and kettle before a cross country road/camping trip. To say it was easy to use is an understatement. Even when filled to max, the kettle boils very quickly and is easily refueled. The little holes at the bottom of the kettle make it easy to feed in sticks as the fire is going. If you are considering buying the camp stove, I highly suggest getting the kettle. Yes, other kettles may be cheaper, but they won't be as stable, as easy to clean, or as compact.
