Whether used in your bedroom, dorm, office, or garage, the versatile Black+Decker 6,000 BTU SACC/CEC (10,000 BTU ASHRAE) Portable Air Conditioner was designed to keep up to 250 sq. ft. of space cool and comfortable. This unit maintains indoor air circulation, cools air down to 61°F, and dehumidifies up to 60 pints every 24 hours when temps outside are unbearably hot. A window kit with a slider bracket, foam seal, air exhaust hose, 2 locking screws, hose inlet and outlet, and drain hose is included for quick installation.
Easily operable LED controls allow you to toggle between 3 cool speeds: 184 cfm at high, 148 cfm at medium, and 132 cfm at low. Rolling wheels and the compact size make moving this unit to another room hassle-free. It works in double hung windows or sliding windows only and should be set on a level, smooth floor that is firm enough to support its weight for low vibration and noise during use. For best results, close all windows and doors when the air conditioner is running, attach the included hoses to make sure it works correctly, and note the 3 minutes delay that follows microprocessor control setting changes before the compressor begins air circulation. The LCD remote control is included as well, and it requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
