Features
Blue Water Copper Shield is a multi-season antifouling bottom paint. The high performance 45% copper load releases a biocide through exposure of new paint film to water, protecting against algae, barnacles and hydroids in salt or fresh water. The ablative copolymer base of the paint is self-polishing by design, enabling abrasion resistance, durability, and a smooth finish. Copper Shield can be applied to most types of bottom paints. Not for use over aluminum.
