Why does the plastic plug replacements have 7/8 and 15/16" as the size?
If the drain plugs you saw are anything like the Camco replacements, SKU 70661, 7/8" and 15/16" are likely to be the socket sizes to twist on the drain plug not the threaded diameter.

There are two "standard" sizes, 1/2" and 3/8".
