Best seat in the house!
It took me about 2 hours to install, only because I had to run get a piece of tubing. The toilet dropped right into the place where the old Aqua IV toilet was mounted - no need even to change the location of the bolts.
The new toilet is about 2 inches higher than the old one. That makes it a lot easier on your chin - knees don't bump when you sit down!
The Bravura is a little bigger all around than the Aqua. It gave me a bit of a problem getting the pliers behind it to tighten the water inlet connection. I finally used a plumber's drain trap wrench.
The flush action is something to see: it pulses and washes away nearly all debris (to put it nicely).
Finally, the appearance of the Bravura is very nice...for a commode.

Very good design
I bought the Bravura to replace the high-end china bowl toilet that came with my motorhome because that toilet simply did not flush properly. The Bravura has a strong flow of water --sort of like a jetstream--that easily cleans out the bowl and pushes paper down the hole. Beforewith my old toilet, the holding tank would fill up in about 5 days because it used required so much water. Now, with the new Bravura, we're gone as long as two weeks with two adults using it full time.
The only thing I'd change about the Bravura is I wish the toilet lid itself was flatter. It has a rounded, dome-like lid and that makes it impossible to set anything down on it, like a hairdryer or a set of curlers. And in a small RV, with very little space, that can be important. All in all I am very happy with this product.

Bravura Toilet High Profile
We had purchased a Bravura toilet in 2004 when we bought a new 5th wheel Citation, The toilets that come with new units usually are not the best, THe Bravura is comfortable and works very well,. We recently purchased a new Laredo by Keystone, from Camping World RV in New Hampshire, and even though it came with a foot operated toilet, we purchased a new Bravura with the High Profile as we are not as young anymore, and really like the Bravura style. Comfortable seat and deep bowl.

great value
Purchased this product prior to a 3 month trip. The toilet that came with our 5th wheel seemed ok but we had been having an odor problem when towing, especially in warm temperatures. We checked everything possible to find a reason for the odor. The Barvura was our final try at a solution, it worked. Don't know what the problem was but after 14,ooo miles in varying temperatures, no odor & the high profile is more comfortable.

Best Improvement so far
This item has a great design and is really comfortable. The way the seat and lid lift off for cleaning is truly ingenious. We replaced a twenty-year-old Thetford in a Class C and it took only about a half hour with a minor plumbing extension. It is also about three inches higher which is a big plus. It comes with bolts, nuts and a new seal. We should have done this a long time ago.

Replacement toilet
Purchased the bravura low profile toilet to replace the leaky toilet in our motor home. It was really the only choice we had due to the mounting bolts. It is a very nice toilet and it fit well in our space. The only problem we had was getting the back nut tightened down. There was not enough clearance around the nut to get a ratchet wrench on it. It was a very tedious process to get it tightened down. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Bravura
I just had the Bravura installed today. I believe the toilet is too high priced, counting shipping. I had a reliable Rv maintenance man install the unit. I do not like the clicking noise when you flush the unit, I cannot understand why this is needed. At first i thought this was a problem, but after calling Thetford, they said this was
normal. Otherwise good looking.

It's almost as good as being at home!
I bought a Bravura to replace my existing (small, leaky, uncomfortable) toilet. The installation was quick and easy, and the larger seat is great. The only down fall is the flush is just a bit noisy for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom.

Will this take a longer hose for hookup than the standard size
As long as the flow rate for the water line is not below 2.5 GPM, the water line can be as long as it needs to be to hookup the toilet.

Seat height is 13-1/8", overall height with lid closed is 14", overall height with lid open is 30-1/2".

Need to know distance between front cover and mounting flange. Purchased Dometic 310 but front extends over mounting box...this looks like it might be smaller.
Center of flange to the point where the front cover touches the floor beneath the foot pedal is 7".

From the center of the flange to the rear and side walls clearance should be 11".
