The Companion OEM is designed for trucks with a factory prep package—Ford, Ram, and GM. Installation is easy: Simply place the base into the four holes and then turn each latch to lock it into place. Then, place the coupler onto the upright arms and secure the pins.

Thanks to a cam, the Companion handle operates effortlessly and never leaves you in a bind. When the handle is open, the cam moves out of the way, allowing the jaws to open when you pull away and uncouple. When the handle is closed, the cam prevents the jaws from opening, preventing accidental release.

The Companion has one of the smoothest rides in the industry. The jaws are machined to fit the coupler precisely, leaving little room for sloppiness. A shock absorber allows side-to-side movement without slamming. The whole coupler rides on polyurethane bushings that absorb roughness from the road.
