Since my generator doesn't have the rv plug in, will this convert to the electricity to the full 30 amps required to run an AC unit?
If your generator has an L14-30 receptacle, yes. Some generators have an L5-30 receptacle, like the Honda EU2000i Companion or EU3000 Handi, which is a 3 prong configuration. For this type of receptacle SKU#35832 is recommended.
