Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Assemble Just received this and assembled it a couple of weeks ago. I had previously purchased the bile brackets at a Camping World store because they were out of stock online. The assembly took about a half hour. It would have gone faster if there was someone helping. We have not had an opportunity to try it out yet. It seems sturdy and materials decent. The bike brackets are installed according to the size of the bike. Center the bike(s) on the platform and install the brackets, I installed one bike, used the strap provided to hold the bike in place and tightened the bolts holding the brackets. Then repeated the process with the other bike making sure there was sufficient clearance between the bikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product Bought this rack to add to my bumper on my camp trailer to carry my generator and extra gas. Assembly done first on tailgate, then on receiver. Once bolts are snug remove, stand it up, and finish tightening. Yes it will want to tilt a little from side to side, but they all do, I used two pieces of 3 inch long 2 inch angle iron and bolted one to each side across the back and pointing towards trailer bumper and eliminated the tipping. The other comment about using u bolts would do just as well. All in all took 30 minutes from start to finish and works well. Beats building one from scratch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Rack! I bought this along with the companion bike rack. It required assembly but by putting the tongue bar in the hitch first and assembling it there it was not a big hassle. It is quite heavy after assembly but not too heavy for my 64 year age. I added two rubber bumpers to the rear edge so that I won't scratch it storing it upright in my garage. I also put yellow/black warning tape on 3 sides so cars following me can see it after dark. Nice factory paint and stainless fasteners.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bought for a 2 bicycle carrier Not too bad to assembly. Have to monkey it around to assembly with one person. Wife's bike fits beautifully. Mine on the other hand didn't. It was too long. Had to cut a slot in the end to fit my bike. Also bought the two bike carriers. They were also a pain to assemble by one person. The tie down system provided was flimsy to say the least with only one tie down per bike. Still working on perfecting the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Carrier I bought this carrier to carry a four wheel bike (120#) on the back of my Jeep. It works very well for that purpose. My load is very evenly balanced so there is no back and forth on the reciever. The unit was very easy to assemble and appears to be of reasonable constuction materials.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cargo carrier Unit assembles easy. It does not have support left and right. 150 lb generator tips unit to one side or the other. Made support using 1 1/2 steel pipe mounted on trailer frame with u-bolts to underside of carrier. This gave proper support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cargo carrier The product is well made, easily assembled, well balanced and lite enough to be easily mounted by one person. My first use was to transport my SUV tires. The carrier made the job much easier than loading into and out of the vehicle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cargo carrier I have not used it yet but did assemble easily, I am going to have to put supports on the left and right side as i intend to hall a small generator on it, but otherwise seems strong enough to do this.

2 bikes and a generator system?

We have a fifth wheel. We would like a rack to fit a Honda 3200 generator as well as 2 bikes. Do you have any suggestions?
Asked by: Lisa
A 'tow model' bike rack like #17222 can be used in conjunction with a cargo carrier of appropriate size. Or if you have a ladder on your 5th wheel, a ladder mount bike rack can be used to free up the hitch receiver for a cargo carrier.
