Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this again. I bought this generator cause my wife just had to have one for our camper, It was over 95 degrees all 4 days. We were able to run the 8,000btu air conditioner and charge all our battery powered items with this generator thoughtout the day. Even with air running and a few things plugged in this generator never ran full out. With the eco button, the noise level dropped a lot...that said, the honda is quieter, I would consider the honda the cadillac of inverter generators, but comes with a cadillac price tag as well. I also have a guy across the street, has an older version of this genereator and uses is almost every day to run his gutter machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really impressed, just out of the box This unit will power my Forest River R-Pod 171 while camping without so-called "shorepower." I haven't fueled or oiled it yet- but it seems built for serious use. I did my research, would have enjoyed a Honda, but determined it was a wise choice and a frugal option to go Chinese this time. Saved loads of cash. My friend has a Champion power log splitter and has had no problems with his unit. So I bought my 100233 invert. gen., took delivery today, am studying the manual, and feel I made the right call. It has a quality feel about it. Maybe I will follow up after summer camping and elk season 2018 with a more experienced review perspective!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy specs and features I purchased this unit from CW one year ago February. After following the manual instructions exactly to break in properly, it would not power up my trailers AC. (Dometic 13500 BTU). I called Champion in Santa Fe Springs and they asked if I could bring the unit in. I did and found that it would not power their AC unit either. They updated the internal electronics to current specs and advised me to use economy mode when operating the AC. Following their advice seemed odd as the RPMS are less in econ mode but it works perfectly with the AC and everything else in the trailer. The built-in wheels and handles make it easily movable and it is not excessively heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Generator, AMAZING customer Service! I purchased the generator and got it broken in. First time I tried to run the AC, it overloaded. Called Champion customer service and didn't expect more than basic help, boy was I wrong. They had me test a few things and then started the process of making it right. First they were going to send me a new unit, but the engineers said it could be the control module so customer service "asked" if I was willing to try switching it out. I was so they overnight shipped the part. Now it runs like a "Champ," ha ha sorry about that. Ran the 13,500 BTU AC and the battery charger at the same time, figured what the heck and turned on ECO mode and it throttled down! Champion is sending me a "sorry for the trouble" gift and that is more than worth the trouble. I will be a Champion Customer for life. A special thank you to the rep I dealt with Brian D.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent/quiet generator I bought this generator about a month ago to be used at the Nascar races in Louden. NH. It worked flawlessly and perfect on the first trial. It runs my a/c, fridge{which is electric only}, and heat with NO issues whats so ever. Compared to the price of the Honda EU3000 your throwing away your money which could buy 2 of these and put money back in your pocket. Can't believe how quiet it runs in the econo mode, awesome!!! The only negative remark is I wish they sold a extended gas tank for there generators. Its only a 1.7gal tank and when under load runs about 6hours. But will say it starts up first pull every time. THANKS!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UP DATE I went out on the road this weekend and really gave my generator a good work out. In my first review I did not give it a 5star rating for being quite. After running it this weekend I realized that if it was shrouded with lots of heavy metal it would be more quiet and more expensive. I listened to some on board generators and the only reason that they appear to be quieter is they have an extra long exhaust pipe for obvious reasons but I had no issues with the 59db that it put out and frankly it in my humble opinion is the best value on the market and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an inverter generator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boondocking Inverter Generator I have been looking for an inverter generator since my wife and I decided to get a travel trailer. The number of choices on the market is mind boggling. After reading reviews and watching videos on the subject I decided on the Champion. Not only was it highly rated, it was also reasonably priced from the retailer. I just finished the 5 hour break in period and will change the oil to see how that process plays out. The process seems very strait forward. The unit is a manual start but easily started on the second pull. A very quiet unit. I had to poke my head outside to make sure it was still running. It was running about 20' from the house. So far I'm very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Was Hoping I purchased this for a road trip that we weren't sure we would have power at all locations. The key features I wanted was the ability to power all of our campers systems and operate quietly, without breaking the bank. I am very pleased. While the generator is quiet enough, it also has an economy mode that further limits noise and reduces gas consumption when there is not a need to run at full power. While it is larger than some more expensive invertor generators, it has a convenient handle and wheels that make it more portable.

What are its dimensions? Need to know if it will fit on the external boxes (Aluminess) on my Sprinter 4X4 that has a Coleman aftermarket air conditioner I usually power with two Honda 200 generators. And will it run the air conditioning?

Asked by: RoryK
Dimensions: 22-1/2”L x 17-1/3”W x 18-1/3”H An average 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner requires 2800 to 3000 watts to start. So this generator should be fine if your air conditioner is a 13.5K or lower BTU model unit.

Where does he exhaust exit from?

I don't see where it exits from and is it adaptable to extend exhaust out and away from camper. to another location.
Asked by: john
The generator's muffler is located behind the circular cutout on the folding handle end of the generator. No, the muffler is not designed to be adaptable.
