Additional Information
The Champion 3500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator is a quiet and lightweight addition to your RV, your next camping trip, a weekend of tailgating, or as a source of backup power during an emergency. This super-convenient inverter generator operates off gas or propane straight out of the box. On gasoline, the inverter will produce 3500 starting watts and 3200 running watts; on propane, it produces 3150 starting watts and 2880 running watts. The Safety Fuel Selector Switch ensures safe and easy operation on either fuel. The inverter comes with a battery for easy, push-button electric Touch Start. The unit comes travel-ready with a standard 30A RV outlet with enough power to start and run a 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner. It will also power essential items during an emergency or power outage - lights, sump pump, refrigerator, modem/router, furnace blower, fan, TV/DVD, or computer. The inverter produces Clean Power (<3% THD), making it suitable for use with sensitive electronics such as computers, flatscreen TVs, and more.

This RV-ready Dual Fuel Inverter operates quietly at 59 dBA from 23 ft. and has a run time of up to 7.5 hours on a full tank of gasoline or 14.5 hours on a 20-lb. propane tank at 25% load. The inverter has a smart Economy Mode that can determine exactly how much power is needed, slowing down the engine when applicable. As electrical load is reduced, the engine automatically idles lower, allowing for quiet operation, extended engine life, and higher fuel economy. The Quick Touch Panel allows easy access to all controls in one convenient area. With parallel capability, the inverter has the ability to connect with another Champion 2800-Watt or more inverter for increased power output. The Dual Fuel Inverter Generator is powered by a reliable 192cc Champion single-cylinder OHV engine with a 1.6 gal. fuel tank, 0.6 qt. oil capacity (recommended 10W-30), and an automatic low-oil shut-off sensor.

The generator comes fully assembled with built-in carrying handles, a foldaway handle, and integrated wheels for easy maneuvering, transportation, and storage. Includes two 120V 30A (TT-30R) and two 120V 20A household outlets (5-20R) equipped with automatic over-voltage protection, a 12V DC automotive-style outlet with dual USB adapter, an oil funnel, and a propane quick-connect hose with regulator. 50-state compliant (CARB & EPA certified). Dimensions: 25.1"L x 17.3"W x 18.3"H. Weight: 95 lbs. Three-year limited warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Expected I researched inverter generators for months and went back and forth on whether I wanted to pay the premium for a Honda. Quiet operation was a must for camping but also needed one that would operate at least one 15,000 BTU A/C. For the price and capacity this one cannot be beat. My only concern was the noise level. After I connected the battery and filled it will oil and gas and hit the start switch it started immediately and I was very impressed as to how quiet it was. Would compare it to the 3000 Honda's I've heard. Very pleased and am planning on buying a second one to operate in parallel to operate both RV A/Cs at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right for my Needs Bought this unit to replace a pair of Champion 2000s. They were good, but I decided a single larger unit would be more convenient for me, if less flexible. The dual fuel feature was what sold me though. I was considering a red 3000 watt competitor, but the Champ has more power, weighs about 40 lbs less, will use propane and comes with wheels and a handle. Yes, the red gennie is quieter, but the Champ is quiet enough, much quieter than contractor-grade units. So far I've just used it around the yard to run electric tools while I break it in, but its primary use will be powering my RV. It will also serve as emergency power for the house through a power inlet box and transfer switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dual fuel 3500 watt I purchased mine August 2016 and am very satisfied! I read the specs and reviews for all the top brand inverter generators and choose this one fo the good reviews and I am, so far at least, very happy about my decision. The Honda 3000i is the closest to this one and they say it will not run a 15,000btu air conditioner which is what I have. So when I read this unit would, I was very excited to purchase and try it. It has exceeded my expectations. It is super quiet. I have it in the bed of my truck and you cannot hear it run inside my 5th wheel RV. It runs my 15k air conditioner with no problem, even on propane.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great generator champions short fall could be fixed easily. I use this generator to power my 30 foot fifth wheel, it powers the ac electric water heater as well as the odds and ends in the R.V. i wish it had a little larger wheels on it,the unit drags on the slightest bumps and uneven terrain easily. also the propane hose could be 5-6 inches longer being so short limits the distance how far your able to get the propane tank away from something that has a spark and runs hot, as simple as it is an hour meter should be included with the generator, champion wants you to do the maintenance on it at selected hours with out an hour meter makes it a guess on that required maintenance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Champion- Terrible service Bought last fall- work great camping, hunting.. This sping used 2 times and it quit. Cabellas washed their hands of it being it was over 90 days. Champion said their only option with warranty is for me to take to service center. THe one told me that they quit servicing Champion product because they were terrible at compensating for work... The other service s=center was 2 weeks out before they could look at it. I took it in to them July 7. It is now September 13 and I still don't hav a generator!!! The service center is still waiting for parts> Extremely disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect of home power outage I wanted a generator to use during a power outage at home to run the refrigerator and furnace or window air conditioner. This Champion model was a good fit. I didn't want to store gasoline so it's ability to run on propane was key. Being an inverter meant it ran quieter and can idle making it more fuel efficient. It was the most expensive of the Champion duel fuel models but I wanted to make sure I had enough starting watts for the furnace. It lacks a hour meter but since I only plan to use it for power outages, that won't be an issue. A gauge that shows percentage of power being used would be nice but would also add to the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice generator! I ordered this in September of 2018. It was shipped promptly, and had no damage when it arrived. The packaging provided plenty of protection. I followed the quick set-up guide and had it running in just a few minutes. I love the propane fuel capability. It is slightly on the heavy side, but I am able to lift it by myself into a pickup bed. It is very easy to start. I like the way they engineered the oil drain tube - it makes oil changes a breeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek, Powerful, Easy, Perfect I've heard great things about the Champion Invertor Generators. I've been eyeing them for about 2 years and since Hurricane Michael was headed our way, we decided to pull the trigger and purchase the dual fuel 3500. It powers our 26WFKSS Flagstaff V-Lite RV perfectly. I've had the AC running on "High" and used the microwave at the same time, and the generator didn't even flinch. I just wish Champion would make the "perfect generator" and offer a remote start for this generator. Duel fuel works flawlessly. Generator started INSTANTLY. This is just what I wanted minus the remote start!
