Additional Information
The Champion 3500-Watt Portable Inverter Generator is the perfect addition to your RV, your next camping trip, a weekend of tailgating, or as a source of backup power during an emergency. The unit can be started by wireless remote, up to 80 feet away, with one push of a button, or by the easy-pull recoil start. The plug-in Smart Charger keeps the battery charged when not in use. The inverter will produce 3500 starting watts and 3200 running watts, and comes travel-ready with a standard 30-amp TT-30R receptacle with enough power to start and run a 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner. It will also power essential items during an emergency or power outage - lights, laptop, radio, modem/router, fan, TV, microwave, or refrigerator. The generator produces true sine wave output, making it suitable for use with sensitive electronics such as computers, flatscreen TVs, and more.

The inverter operates quietly at 59 dBA from 23 ft. and has a run time of up to 7.5 hours on a full tank of gasoline at 25% load. The inverter has a smart Economy Mode that can determine exactly how much power is needed, slowing down the engine when applicable. As electrical load is reduced, the engine automatically idles lower, allowing for quiet operation, extended engine life, and higher fuel economy. With parallel capability, the inverter has the ability to connect with another Champion 2800-3500 watt generator for increased power output. The 3500-Watt Portable Inverter Generator is powered by a reliable 192cc Champion single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled OHV engine with a 1.6 gal. fuel tank, 0.6 qt. oil capacity (recommended 10W-30), and an automatic low-oil shut-off sensor.

The generator comes fully assembled with built-in carrying handles, a convenient folding handle, and integrated wheels for easy maneuvering, transportation, and storage. Includes two 20-amp 5-20R receptacles, a 12V automotive-style outlet with dual-port USB adapter, push-to-reset circuit breakers, a wireless remote key fob, and oil funnel. 50-state compliant (CARB & EPA certified). Dimensions: 25"L x 17-3/8"W x 18-3/8"H. Weight: 110 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurricane killer I bought this generator set to replace an old Honda generator the day before Hurricane Hermine hit. I wanted something that would power essentials in the house, but also serve as a boondocking generator for the RV. Well, mission accomplished. During the hurricane (and for 5 days after with no power :>{), the Champion powered two refrigerators, multiple fans, lights, coffee maker, TV and microwave. I plan to add a small window unit to the mix. It never skipped a beat and averaged 7.5-8 hours between fills. Last week I threw it into the bed of the truck to test it on the RV and it handled everything on my Forest River Flagstaff 25 KS just fine. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I am impressed with this generator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Generator, great price - and GREAT service Bought two of these little units with the parallel kit, and I am very well pleased with the quality and reliability of these gens. We ran our 5th wheel, with both ac units, fridge, fans, tv, etc all weekend with 90 degree temps. They never missed a beat and kept everything running fine. We used about 1 gallon gas per hour for both generators. The wireless start is a neat feature, especially if you turn off the generator at night and want to restart from inside in the morning. Overall a very nice generator, and I'd highly recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality Product, but Heavy and Hard to Store I purchased this item in lieu of buying two Generac IQ2000s and a Parallel Kit. The Champion has performed well. The main problem is its weight and size. I have a decent size travel trailer. The Champion will fit in the forward storage compartment but barely. Lifting 110 LBS is one thing. Trying to maneuver it into a space with about an inch clearance is a whole other issue. It barely handled the load of the 15K BTU AC so I added a "Soft Start" Kit to resolve the problem. After struggling with getting it into the storage compartment several times and not wanting to put it inside the camper, I ended up purchasing two Generic IQ2000s and the Parallel Kit. The Champion runs well and I will use it for other projects I have in my woods. If you have a good storage spot for the Champion in your camper or tow vehicle and do not mind slinging 110 Lbs around, the Champion 3500 will serve you well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Champion 3500 So far, it is really good, It runs air from 90 degrees to 65 just fine and also runs the TV and some basic RV electrical. I returned a new Honday, it was too heavy for my wife and I. At 70, I can manage the Champion by myself. It will block our air(shut down) if overloaded but will still keep running the low voltage items. Electric start and remote is excellent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Champion 3500 watt inverter generrator w/romote After following the break-in instructions I switched off all the 115 volt breakers except the 15000 btu Domestic a/c in our 2017 fifth wheel. I let the generator warm up with the conservation mode off and plugged in the trailer. I turned on the a/c and the fan started up with no problem but as soon as the compressor kicked in the generator went into over load.

Will it run good at 10000 feet?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Engine power and generator output will be reduced approximately 3½% for every 1000 feet of elevation above sea level. Therefore, at 10,000 feet, you will lose 35% of it's potential.

    Choke

Does this unit have a automatic choke, or do u have to activate the choke "manually"after long a long piriod of time without use?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The choke is an automatic design, but in the event that the battery is dead or does not have enough of a charge to start. The side panel of the generator can be removed to manually adjust choke.
