Additional Information
The Champion 7500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator is the perfect addition to your RV, your next camping trip, a weekend of tailgating, or as a source of backup power during an emergency. This powerful generator runs on propane or gasoline, and is RV-ready with built-in TT-30, L14-30R, 14-50R, and two 5-20R receptacles that let you plug in your 30-amp or 50-amp RV power cord directly without an adapter needed. On gasoline, the generator will produce 9375 starting watts and 7500 running watts; on propane, it produces 8400 starting watts and 6750 running watts. On either fuel type, that's plenty of power to run your RV air conditioner, as well as all the items you need in a power outage - lights, sump pump, refrigerator, modem/router, security system, window AC, furnace blower, fan, TV/DVD, computer, microwave, or (on the job) multiple power tools at the same time. The generator comes with a 12V battery for easy, push-button electric start. Cold Start technology ensures fast, reliable starts even in cold weather.

The generator operates at 74 dBA from 23 ft. and has a run time of up to 8 hours on a full tank of gasoline at 50% load; propane run times vary on tank size. The generator is powered by a 439cc Champion single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled OHV engine with a 6.1 gal. gasoline fuel tank , 1.2 qt. oil capacity (recommended 10W-30), and an automatic low-oil shut-off sensor. The 3-function IntelliGauge displays volts, frequency (Hz), and operating hours. Volt Guard technology provides over-voltage protection for appliances.

The generator comes fully equipped with a 1.5" dia. tubular steel frame for maximum protection and durability. Integrated U-shaped handles, a fold-away handle, and 9.5" dia. never-flat tires allow for easy maneuverability, transportation, and storage. Includes a 12V battery, start-up oil, an oil funnel, and a 3.3' LPG hose with regulator. 50-state compliant (CARB & EPA certified). Dimensions: 27.8"L x 28.7"W x 26.4"H. Weight: 203.9 lbs. Three-year limited warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT After a drive with the 5th wheel camper to the RACE track this weekend we found our generator we brought wouldn't work. With a 5 1/2 month pregnant wife and a 5 year old daughter being without AC was not gonna happen. Luckily Camping World had 1 unit left in stock Thursday night. our camper has 2 13500 roof airs and all the other goodies. This Generator not only ran EVERYTHING for the entire 3.5 days we was there but it did it with ease. Fuel consumption was about .7gallons per hour. The best part was the 50AMP camper plug simply plugged into this generator without any adaptor or special cable at all. Thanks for a GREAT product with camping in mind. Joe

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. My wife and I bought this for her dad. He lives in northern California and has been subjected to Pacific Gas and Electric shutting his power off when the wind blows. We live 650 miles away. He is 86 years old and his closest neighbor is 1/2 miles away . We chose this generator because it was duel fuel and could be connected to his propane system. The electric start is easy for him to use and the maintenance is minimal. My wife has peace of mind knowing her dad will have heat, lights, his microwave, refrigerator, his well pump and the Turner Classic Movies to watch. Thank you for offering a superior product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a generator that works. Bring a full timer a good generator is a must. I finally found one that works. We have been using this generator for 3 weeks now as we travel across the country in our 40-foot Montana 50 amp fifth wheel trailer. This generator Powers every electrical Appliance and device all at the same time. It powers everything on gasoline and LPG. I ran it for 6 hours straight the other day and barely used a half a tank of gasoline. Since it weighs 200 pounds I leave it in the bed of my pickup truck and it operates just fine, even though it is supposed to have a 5-foot clearance all the way around. (Just insure that the propane tank is nowhere the exhaust.)The instructions say that it cannot be operated in the rain. So to remedy that I put a big umbrella over it when it's raining. The only other con is that it is loud. But when we normally use it there's not very many people around anyways. I highly recommend this Champion Generator for all RVers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dual Fuel Exceeds My Expectations The dual fuel feature is huge for me. We have a large propane tank that I use in the winter for heating that I can tap to power this generator should we have a power outage. We are in a hurricane zone and lost power for 3 days with Hurricane Michael. Next time we will be better prepared with this generator. I can have the propane tank filled during the summer for Hurricane Preparation. If nothing happens, I will simply use the propane for heating in the winter after Hurricane Season. The generator fired right up and I ran it on propane for 20 minutes. I was really impressed with the quality of the unit, packaging and instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a girl I had never even seen a generator much less started one! I'd did research for a month and I kept coming back to Champion. The assembly was super easy and in my first try it started right up! So glad I got a Champion 7500. It runs a 15000 btu and all my electric appliances with ease and at the same time. My only complaint is you don't make a large dual fuel inverter. I just got kicked off the pasture where I was because they said the generator was too loud. I think the farmer wanted more than a renter! Wink. I'm sure this beast is going to last a very long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. I replaced a gasoline only 6000 Watt generator that was not running because I left old gas in it. Now with the new higher wattage dual fuel Champion generator I can run on propane and not worry about old gasoline. I like that the Champion came with a battery where the old one did not. One thing missing is a fuel gauge for the gasoline, but since I will be mostly running on propane it is not a problem. I have the generator connected to the house through an inlet which goes to the breaker panel where I have a manual interlock. By selecting certain circuits the 7500 Watts is enough to run my electric water heater or my central air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great generator that comes with great customer service We purchased this generator after pricing whole house Generac generators. For the price, we got a great value. We had kind of a quirky issue when we first received the generator (it wouldn't start because the oil sensor was tripped and it thought there wasn't any oil in it). However, after speaking with customer service and jiggling the oil knob, the float/sensor allowed us to start the generator. The fact that this is dual fuel was a huge selling point especially in Florida where it is common to run out of gasoline before a hurricane. This feature allows us to use backup propane if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up I recently had it shipped to my house with no shipping charge and it only took about 30 minutes to get it ready to go. Everything came with it including the oil and propane regulator. The great thing is I don't need to store gasoline waiting for a power outage. I bought and filled a couple more propane tanks which I use for my gas grille anyway. It started right up with the electric starter and ran like top on the propane. It is powerful enough to power everything we normally would use in the home with the exception of the electric stove and clothes dryer, so in a power outage we'll have heat, refrigerator and freezer running, as well as all the other appliances like microwave and coffee maker.
