Additional Information
The Champion 7500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator is the perfect addition to your RV, your next camping trip, a weekend of tailgating, or as a source of backup power during an emergency. This powerful generator runs on propane or gasoline, and is RV-ready with built-in TT-30, L14-30R, 14-50R, and two 5-20R receptacles that let you plug in your 30-amp or 50-amp RV power cord directly without an adapter needed. On gasoline, the generator will produce 9375 starting watts and 7500 running watts; on propane, it produces 8400 starting watts and 6750 running watts. On either fuel type, that's plenty of power to run your RV air conditioner, as well as all the items you need in a power outage - lights, sump pump, refrigerator, modem/router, security system, window AC, furnace blower, fan, TV/DVD, computer, microwave, or (on the job) multiple power tools at the same time. The generator comes with a 12V battery for easy, push-button electric start. Cold Start technology ensures fast, reliable starts even in cold weather.

The generator operates at 74 dBA from 23 ft. and has a run time of up to 8 hours on a full tank of gasoline at 50% load; propane run times vary on tank size. The generator is powered by a 439cc Champion single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled OHV engine with a 6.1 gal. gasoline fuel tank , 1.2 qt. oil capacity (recommended 10W-30), and an automatic low-oil shut-off sensor. The 3-function IntelliGauge displays volts, frequency (Hz), and operating hours. Volt Guard technology provides over-voltage protection for appliances.

The generator comes fully equipped with a 1.5" dia. tubular steel frame for maximum protection and durability. Integrated U-shaped handles, a fold-away handle, and 9.5" dia. never-flat tires allow for easy maneuverability, transportation, and storage. Includes a 12V battery, start-up oil, an oil funnel, and a 3.3' LPG hose with regulator. 50-state compliant (CARB & EPA certified). Dimensions: 27.8"L x 28.7"W x 26.4"H. Weight: 203.9 lbs. Three-year limited warranty.

Champion 7500 Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Champion 7500 with 40ft RV. I just got this generator and have only used propane. I followed the quick start procedures to the letter and it fired right up and ran great. No missing or hunting. The instructions were easy by the way. I ran it for several minutes before I connected my 40ft RV. I used the built in 50amp connection. After connecting the RV I began to turn things on. 2 15k btu AC units, 46in TV with Direct TV, 22ci residential refrigerator, ran the water pump to fill a cup for the microwave, heated the water in the microwave. Everything ran with no problem. I highly recommend this generator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more worries about dry camping I purchased this item not really knowing what I was getting for sure. I just was hoping it would run my 32' Heritage Travel Trailer anywhere I wanted to take it, with or without electric hookup. It started right out of the box. I followed all instructions and did the break-in period and it exceeded my expectations that I was hoping for. It was and still is a little on the loud side, but I haven't had it out in the woods or campground yet. I had to do the break-in period in my back yard which is rather confining and has a lot of echo due to surrounding buildings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Max wattage is 7200 Watts There are 30 amp circuit breakers on each phase of power. The maximum wattage that a single phase can handle is 3600, and the max total wattage is 7200. If your RV has 2 air conditioners and they are powered from different phases, then you should be able to run both of them. If they are powered from the same phase, then you probably can not. It all depends on how the RV was wired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a generator that works. Bring a full timer a good generator is a must. I finally found one that works. We have been using this generator for 3 weeks now as we travel across the country in our 40-foot Montana 50 amp fifth wheel trailer. This generator Powers every electrical Appliance and device all at the same time. It powers everything on gasoline and LPG. I ran it for 6 hours straight the other day and barely used a half a tank of gasoline. Since it weighs 200 pounds I leave it in the bed of my pickup truck and it operates just fine, even though it is supposed to have a 5-foot clearance all the way around. (Just insure that the propane tank is nowhere the exhaust.)The instructions say that it cannot be operated in the rain. So to remedy that I put a big umbrella over it when it's raining. The only other con is that it is loud. But when we normally use it there's not very many people around anyways. I highly recommend this Champion Generator for all RVers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still working good after 6 months Bought the unit 6 months ago. Used it twice and then stored it until yesterday. Pulled it out to change the oil and it started right back up. So far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Champion in every way Researched for months before deciding on and purchasing this unit. Tech department at champion is outstanding and more than willing to answer any questions about their products. I called them twice and both times they were very helpful. I tried the propane right out of the box and it fired right up. Then switched to gas with the same results. Note: The start and stop switch does not turn the unit off when running on propane by design for saftey. I also ran this right along side the supposedly more quiet harbor freight predator 6500 watt unit. I could not hear the champion over the predator. It is also clean enough at 5%THD to run TVs and such. I have, thus far, been very impressed and satisfied with my decision. In my opinion, champion has a much better selection of generators that will actually produce the amperage needed for many applications. As I was shopping, I learned that you cannot simply go by wattage, as many manufacturers including harbor freight sell units that can produce 5000+ watts but cannot handle 30 amps. (what is the point of that!) Most cannot even safely run TVs and such because the THD is so high. If you go with champion you will feel like one!
