Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective out of the box Looks like a terrific grill out of the box, but the gas regulator device will not fit the grill slot. Can't force it in and it just doesn't fit. You can't just let it hang there without the safety of being securely connected. So I've been on the phone with Customer Service, thought I had it arranged to get a replacement, but when I called again they didn't have any notes from my previous call. I'm not surprised because I had seen that others complained of this issue. Just thought it might have been corrected by the time I ordered one. Either the regulator wasn't designed for this unit or the unit wasn't designed for this regulator.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Char Broil Grill 2 Go X200 This is a great product. My experience was the same as the last two. Mine too had lighting and burning problems. Char Broils excellent Customer Service sent a new burner and regulator. Swapped the regulator and all worked perfect. This barbeque burns HOT and requires a little practice. I ruined my first couple of steaks (unfortunately they were KC steaks so a bit pricey on the lesson) but now do a pretty good job with it. It makes beautiful sear marks. These steaks were not very thick so what time it normally took to sear my steaks would have been all that was needed to cook them. I definitely recommend this barbeque. I would give this unit 5 stars if you could attach it to the quick connect on a travel trailer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grill 2 no go Received grill from Camping World via FedEx with no apparent damage. Unfortunately, the igniter didn't light the grill although it did produce a spark. Lit the grill with a match hoping that the problem would go away and only the left hand side of the burner would produce a flame. Returning the grill to CW would have been a hassle, so called Char Broil who shipped new burner, igniter and regulator which fixed problems. If you're new to infra red grills (as I was) they burn a lot hotter and it's easy to burn/overcook when you first start using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect grill for on the road Recently purchased this grill and the extra cover for use with our 30 travel trailer when we want to cook outside. It took 5 minutes to put it together right out of the box... piece of cake. Have used it for grilling steaks and chicken and could not be happier. As far as cleaning the grill I don't know what some are complaining about. The stainless steel grill lifts right off of the grill and after cooking I just turn the heat up full blast and let it clean the grill for about 10 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best portable grill available I've owned this grill for over a year and use it all the time. In fact, I like it so much that I just bought a 2nd one as a gift for my son so he won't keep borrowing mine for tailgating. It cooks evenly and without flare-ups, and is as easy to use on the beach as it is for tailgating and camping. The available carry case (search for it online) makes it even more convenient to use if you're taking it on the road. All you need is a small Coleman propane cylinder and a small set of grilling utensils and you're cooking. The carry case even has a place to store 2 propane cylinders and your utensils. The grill cools quickly and the lid latches securely closed so you can be portable again within 10 minutes after cooking. Cleanup is easy too with the included grill cleaning tool. I would highly recommend this grill from CW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than most This BBQ is really solid and heats up better than most. The Tru-infrared grate does just what it's supposed to: delivers even heat and prevents flare-ups. I would like to see one improvement from Char Broil, supply a factory accessory hose so this unit could be used with low pressure propane from my trailers quick disconnect. I'll use the small throw away bottles for now and rig up a high pressure connection in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grill 2 Go X200 Being a picky person I found this grill to be an excellent value for the asking price. The construction is really stout and the aluminum casting is a nice quality piece. It lights easily and with the tall cover allows for larger items to be grilled unlike other grills. Over all I expect this grill will give me many years of good use so my purchase was well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small Grill, Large Performance I got tired of charcoal and the wait involved with less than optimal results. I have owned a CharBroil product before and it was a quality product. This little grill has exceeded my expectations. It grills beautifully without flare-up. It is a little heavy, but the weight is needed to get the quality and results that this grill provides. I would highly recommend it.

    Cooking with pots/pans?

I am wondering if you can cook with a cast iron pot or can I use a non-stick on this grill? Is there a max weight?
    Asked by: BigSur Camper
Pots/pans of any variation can be used. However, you may not get as much direct heating compared to a camp-stove burner that a pot/pan can sit directly on. A maximum weight rating has not been recorded for this unit.

Will this grill work with a gas line from the RV's propane tank? I have learned that my Weber Q220 will not.

    Asked by: pklphd
This is for use with the disposable 1 pound canisters, or for direct connection to a 20 or 30 pound refillable tank using an adapter such as item 30338. Not compatible with pre-regulated sources. (double regulation will result in ignition and flame height malfunctions)
