Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coleman - Mach 8 13,500 BTU AC This is a very good choice for a 2nd AC for the front bedroom of my 5th wheel. It is very light and easily installed on the trailer. The mounting bolts were about 2 1/2 too short for the roof of my Arctic Fox 5th wheel but was easily taken care of with some all thread.

I have a 2016 Puma with a Coleman Mach 15. Will this be a direct replacement for the Mach 15 with no modifications to wiring or roof opening?

Asked by: TomUnleashed
All Coleman Mach models have the same requirements for the roof opening, so the Mach 8 will install in the same place with no problem. As for power requirements, according to the manufacturer literature, the Mach 8 series should have similar if not the same electrical specs as the Mach 15, so the existing wiring should be sufficient.

Can I use a wall mounted thermostat with this?

Asked by: BradAsh2
Yes, it is possible to control this rooftop unit with a wall thermostat. To order the correct components for a non-ducted, wall thermostat controlled set up, please contact our Technical Service Department @ 800.622.6264(M-F, 8:00-5:00 CST). For a ducted configuration with wall thermostat, use the ducted ceiling assembly(SKU# 110466) along with one of the following thermostats: Analog thermostat - SKU# 95730(black) / SKU# 43689(white) or Digital thermostat - SKU# 92909 (white) / (black) will have to be special ordered through the Technical Service Department

What is need to do a complete install for this. It will be going on a delivery truck like a ups truck.

Asked by: Chip
As this would be a custom installation, it is highly recommended that you consult with the service department at a nearby Camping World store location (https://rv.campingworld.com/locations) or with a local authorized Coleman-Mach service center (https://www.airxcel.com/coleman-mach/service-support/service-locator).

I have a 2005 Coleman air conditioner to replace in my motorhome. The model # is 9001C876. The replacement According to Airxcel is # 47003A876.

The model # on your website is 47203A876. Is this the same air conditioner with one number difference? Does your air conditioner have a heat pump? Can I use it with a remote thermostat? Can I use my original sealing assembly? The motor home is ducted air.
Asked by: Denny
No, they are different units. 47003A876 is a heat pump model and is listed as SKU#69667 while 47203A876(SKU#69633) is an air conditioner that only cools(except when heat strip is installed). If you have a ceiling assembly attached, yes it can be used with the Mach 8. You can read the support document here. In the happenstance a new ceiling assembly is required, you can use SKU#72563.
The Mach 8 should be compatible with your remote thermostat.

Can this unit replace the Model 86338876 ?

Is it roof ducted?
Asked by: Felix
Coleman air conditioners are typically more compatible with various ceiling assemblies and components compared to some other brands. This Mach 8 unit can be used in both ducted and non-ducted configurations. As to if it will be compatible with your current ceiling assembly, there is a high probability it will. But will need to obtain the model# of the ceiling assembly and confirm with the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or with our Technical Service Group @ 800.622.6264
