Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we need We wanted a grill for our travel trailer that could fit inside the front staorage hatch, but with a somewhat large grill surface and integrated legs. This grill meets our needs. It has a low profile lid, fairly narrow, and the legs fold onto itself. On our first trip using the grill, we cooked burgers, dogs, chicken tenders, and steaks over a five day period. With the grill surface design, I needed to move all the meat more often than I would on my home grill. We were not disappointed with the cooking process. On the negative side, the grill is not light weight. I can pick up the grill without trouble to put it away, but there is no way my wife could do the same. 2nd, the grill surface is half grate and half solid, which could lead to uneven cooking if you don’t keep an eye on the food. Bottom line, we like the grill, have no regrets, and would buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Road Grill I have used this grill for about a year now and have had excellent results with it. My nephew was so impressed he bought one too. A bit heavy for an "ole dude" but not really a problem. I was going to buy a second grill for the house but I liked this one. I used it on the road all summer and take out of 5th wheeler to use at home during fall through spring. I hook it up to my 20lb tank at the house and portables on the road. Does a great job on steaks and shish kabobs too. I wish the grates on the grill were larger to accomodate for flame grilling. Excellent value!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super all round compact grill We have owned this grill for over a year and truly enjoy it. We can't have a full size grill where we live so it's perfect for home as well as camping. We purchased the half griddle and 2 burners. We can cook anything on this unit. Yes, it cooks hotter than other grills, but like any grill or oven, once you're used to it...perfect food every time. We keep the drip pans and grill surfaces clean for better more even cooking and few grease flare ups. We spray with 409, let the grill tops and drip trays sit, then use a thin scrubbing pad and hot soapy water to clean. They all still look great after a year of using the grill weekly. Very happy to wake up and fire up the grill on a chilly morning, perking coffee on half and flipping flapjacks on the other half.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No replacement parts The drip pans will go bad in about a year of moderate use and you cannot get a new drip pan for it. Once the drip pans go bad the grille plates will no longer set on the grille to cook anything making the whole grille worthless

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you’re having this for a couple of years now I realize the best way to utilize it is to put a cast-iron skillet in it and grill in the cast-iron skillet because the extreme mess and pain in the butt to have to clean the bbq it after every use. My next project is to have to clean out the orifices so I actually get good flame back on the grill. The portability feature is great but you would think they could do something even make their own mind of foil inserts that you can use and throw away. Obviously the brain surgeons that invented this never had to clean it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect Mighty Little Grill I can’t have a full size grill at my townhouse. Being a bachelor and not cooking a lot of food at one time this grill is perfect for me. Grates clean up easily. I love the drip pans they are easy to clean and wipe off. Cooking on low is best and if it gets too hot while cooking I just turn the burner off and it usually finishes cooking on it’s own. I ❤️ This grill.

What are the dimensions of the grill itself?

Asked by: mich614
I reached out to Coleman about this directly, and unfortunately they did not have this information. They only have the full assembled dimensions. When fully assembled on its stand, the grill is approximately 21.99" x 11.78'' x 41.42''. Something you can try doing is contacting one of our retail locations to see if they have this grill in stock. If they do, someone at the store may be able to measure one for you. The RoadTrip X-cursion Grill can be hooked up to a 20 lb propane tank using the Coleman 5 foot propane hose and adapter, which is sold separately: https://www.coleman.com/all-camp-kitchen/camp-kitchen-parts/5-ft.-high-pressure-propane-hose-and-adaptor/col_2000014877_pr/COL_2000014877

Can the grill be used with pots to cook like burners?

Asked by: Good Witch
The grill and griddle(SKU# 33279) grates for the Roadtrip are not really designed for cookware like a pot. Instead you will want to look for the stove grate(Coleman part# 2000019875) that can be swapped in to the grill and is optimized for pots and pans use. At this time we do not carry this grate and will have to locate it from another source.
