Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pellet Grill I have struggled with smoking for a few years, using an offset smoker and always fighting temp/smoke control. My father In Law purchased a Pellet Grill and I was hooked. When I found this Traveler Grill, it was exactly what I was looking for. I've had it for several weeks and have used it over a dozen times. It is absolutely perfect. Great temperature control, Great Smoke control. Brisket comes out exactly like I want, grilling steaks and burgers is easy and fun, and today I'm am smoking a tri-tip. So nice to purchase something that has quality and did not let me down. I would (and have) recommend this Smoker to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love our Country Smokers Traveler! I bought the Traveler for home use. My wife and I are retired and it is just the right size for us. This is our first smoker grill. I had figured that a smoker would be too much work and messing around. Boy was I wrong. Country Smokers thought of everything. This smoker is so easy to use and is loaded with great features. I am amazed at the quality of this smoker, and all of the great features for such a low price. It fits perfectly in the top shelf of a 3 shelf tool cart that we purchased locally. We made the right choice!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy! Big enough. Great Smoke. Purchased through Lowe’s about a month ago. Bacon & Olive Oil Burn in. Hamburgers, Chicken, Pork Tenderloin, Bacon Wrapped Sirlion have all come out far better than my meager skills should have allowed. I’m running Chicken Breasts and some very primitive Anaheim peppers with Feta right now. Why not 5 stars? 2 Flaws. 1)Be very careful on initial setup and all subsequent starts - there’s a wiggly dial control and if it’s not completely in the Off Position at startup you’ll blow the fuse. (It’s in the manual, but in my opinion one step to late.) 2) Mine arrived with one of the internal power connectors (at the inside of the Power plug) disconnected. 5 minutes of taking the cover(vented) off and visually inspecting, and re-connecting, but a very easy fix. Bottom line, just pay even a smidgen of attention and this is a great unit. A WiFi temperature probe is an excellent add-on!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Erratic temps I have had this smoker for a year and have used it 6 times it has huge temp swings if I start on smoke and let it try to stabilize it will go up to 450f or hotter according to the digital read out while the lid thermometer may read 200-225. Once I set it at 300 it gets going and fluctuates between 235-450 and smokes like it is trying to relight and then back up to 450. I Have talked to tech help but haven’t had any luck fixing the problem. Really hope there is some way to fix it as I do like it and it does fit in my RV perfectly. Have a pit boss at home and it works awesome. The tech guys were great to talk to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great little smoker till it breaks. I bought the smoker almost a year ago. Worked amazing. Now I can’t use it as I’ve been waiting on parts since October of last year. Every time I call I get told Oh next week oh 2 weeks oh by the end of the month. I called today as I was told it would be in the mail by the end of February. Well it’s come and gone again and still no parts. Now I’m being told I won’t get it until may. I can go buy a brand new one right but can’t get parts. I’m beyond angry off at this point. I was going to add a larger smoker this year and was eyeing a pit boss but knowing they cover pit boss as well that’s out of the question!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versableity, awsome smoker small package! I work on the road, a different city every few days,, for fhe few years i started cooking my meals on a BBQ grill, but as you may guess, you are really limited to what you can cook on a open flame propane grill. One day about 6 months ago I came across the "County Smoker, Traveler" it's small not too small, portable and simple to use, and you can cook almost any thing in it, besides the obvious meats and vegetables, for example I have used it bake things, lasagna, casseroles, bread, chocolate cookies, yes even cookies(on a silicone sheet) it is my first smoker, but in a very short time I'm cooking like a pro. I highly recommend it! I love it so much I bought a 2nd one for home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome little smoker Bought my first one on a whim. It looked like it’d fit nicely in my semi. I liked it so much I kept it at the house and purchased a second one for my truck. They produce more smoke than most pellet grills. We use it almost every night I’m home. The nice thing about it is it can run off an 800 watt inverter.

How much power does it take --would it operate off my Invertor in my trailer-or are there Batter packs available to operate for a few hours

Asked by: Phil
It takes 120v to start up but for the duration of smoking time this thing runs on next to nothing. It does not take batteries. Best little investment for me, my partner at work bought one also now hes a smokin fool!!!!
