The Curt A-Series 5th Wheel Hitch is engineered for maximum strength and stability. It features a dual-jaw design that completely wraps around the kingpin, providing secure coupling and preventing rattling and chucking. Its head can be easily removed for full truck bed access and it can be adjusted to fit different trailer heights.
The A-Series is designed to provide a surprisingly quiet ride while maintaining superior towing power. It comes with a three-position coupling indicator visible from your pickup truck cab, an extra wide head for easier coupling, and high-strength interlocking die-cast jaws for a secure hold on your 5th wheel trailer.
It uses a fully articulating torsion head, a cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts, and interlocking jaws to create stability for your trailer and tow vehicle. These components also allow the hitch to suppress shock and vibrations and reduce any additional noise coming from your trailer. The Curt A-Series Hitch is coated with a durable carbide powder-coat finish. Curt 5th wheel sliders are built with a solid design to eliminate chucking in the towing position and promote smooth rolling from forward to rearward positions, with no binding. With the slider installed, you can safely move the coupling point 12" toward the rear, allowing your short-bed truck to make turns without obstruction.
