Additional Information
Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant is designed for use on horizontal RV roof surfaces, including rubber, TPO, metal, fiberglass, aluminum, or wood. The sealant seals along roof edges, around vent covers, vent pipes, air conditioners, and screw heads. Self-Leveling Lap Sealant remains flexible and is UV-stabilized to prevent deterioration and discoloration. 10.3-oz. tube.

Directions for Use:
Clean surface of all dirt, loose paint, rust, oil, and grease. Allow surface to dry before applying sealant. Use standard caulking equipment to apply sealant. In cold weather, warm container at room temperature before use.

Caution:
Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. To avoid breathing vapors, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches, or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOSH/MSHA TC23C or equivalent) or leave the area. Can cause nose, throat, eye, and skin irritation.

Spills:
Keep container closed when not in use. In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with applicable regulations.

In Case of Fire:
Use water spray, foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide. Do not use a solid stream of water, as it can scatter and spread the fire. Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground to distant ignition sources and flash back.

First Aid:
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Glasses or goggles are recommended. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water of at least 15 minutes. Chemically resistant gloves recommended. In case of skin contact, thoroughly wash affected area with soap and water.

Health Notice:
Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful and fatal.

Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant - White is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sealant bubbles up I used this to seal around two new skylights I installed on my 2014 Prowler RV and the sealant bubbled up along where it connects to rubber roof. I did install a bead of the decor non self leveling and set the skylight in the bead of sealant. I then immediately installed the self leveling. The only issues I can think of - maybe too hot - 90 degree day, or some type of reaction to the rubber; There is not really good directions on the sealant to avoid wrong installation so not sure what went wrong but looking for ideas now. Sealant worked fine on the plastic part of the skylight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Dicor Sealant does the job! Easy to apply, and seals cracks and seams around roofing inserts like skylites and vents without error. I had two leads. One in the skylite in the bathroom and one where my TV cable comes in through the roof. Dicor made those leaks history! You won't regret using this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sealer I have used this product before and when I needed to install a vent I went back to it. It really works great but you have to put it on thick. Not to worry, it levels itself to some extent so you don't have to do that. I keep extra tubes just in case I find something that needs resealing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roof sealant and repairs It is a Dicor product so you should expect it to work right and it does, I have used hundreds of tubes of this product and it always works great. You should be looking at all your sealing spots on your roof at least twice per year to stop the issue of water leaks in your coach also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dicor self leveling lap sealant Works great. Easy to use in a caulking gun. Makes a nice smooth bead. I used a small paint brush to smooth over the entire bead of old caulking I was covering up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dicor sealant Just clean the area and put it on. Works great for new installs or covering cracks in existing roof installed vents etc. I keep some on hand in the RV just in case.

Is it absolutely necessary to apply both coats the same day or can you apply the second coat the next day

    Asked by: jack
Multiple coats and a small window of application applies to the Primer/Cleaner(SKU#32150) and Acrylic Coating(SKU#32151). Lap sealant can be touched up at any time after the first bead has been laid.

See details below. Rubber is bubbling loose from roof.

Applied the sealant yesterday around solar panel brackets, and today I notice the rubber roof material around the brackets is buckling up. The tube directions say there may be surface wrinkle/cosmetic issues. Is this to be expected...? Thanks
    Asked by: Anonymous
Air bubbles in a rubber roof membrane usually occur after installation of the membrane, but can be caused by weather conditions and humidity, flexing and twisting of the membrane, or even significant difference in temperature between the inside and outside of the unit. <p>Air bubbles will not effect the performance of your roof and are not to be punctured. The bubbling is likely to go away as the weather changes.
