Excellent Upgrade Toilet, comfortable
Overall a good toilet, the elongated bowl is a major plus and comfort. The wood seat is mounted well and does not move around. This toilet is a major improvement over the standard Dometic 300. The only con to this toilet is to add water to the bowl you must depress the flush valve (foot flush) down ever so slightly to allow more water in the bowl. Depress to far and the flash valve opens, to little and no water comes in.

Not for nighttime use
Like the toilet as far as construction and looks, but there is one major drawback: it's loud when flushing. When releasing the pedal there is a very loud bang coming from the foot valve. I spoke with Dometic Sanitation and I am told; "this is normal and the fault lies with your plumbing. A water hammer arrestor will solve the problem." I've tried lowering my water pressure too but it still wakes us up if used in the night. I like the unit except for the non-defect they've got going there.

Excellent!
This toilet replaced the one in our Everest 2003 Fifth wheel. It took about 15 minutes to remove and install this toilet. I was very surprised by how easy it was. No leaks. The directions were easy to follow. The seat height is perfect. I am a happy camper.

Two words: Bloody Comfortable
One of easiest to clean, extremely comfortable, good looking, RV toilet ever!
It does use as much or as little water as you want, based on your needs, and its very easy to keep clean. And to be clear, if mounted correctly, it does NOT leak anything. You do get the usual wiff when the ball is open but only for few seconds and if the chemicals are used properly, the odour is minimal. Used for 12 months daily and couldn't be more happy..

Great Toilet
I replaced my original Thetford toilet with this one and absolutely love it. It was super easy to install and has the hand sprayer as well. So funny how the little things make your motorhome feel more like home.

Bad design for flush ball
The 310 was installed about 3 years ago in our motorhome and wasn't used very much before the ball developed a crack. So far no one has been able to find a replacement flush ball and all suggest we purchase another toilet. The flush ball listed all over the internet is not the correct one for this toilet so don't be fooled.

This toilet stinks.
I have had two of these, and they both leak into the inaccessible body of the toilet base. This creates a disastrous odor within a couple of days. The seal between the bowl and the insides of the structure is ineffective.

will the slow close domestic toilet seat for the 310 fit my domestic 320 toilet?
I never tried it. I put on a nice bamboo seat
Date published: 2021-02-15
Is the seat replaceable with a standard elongated seat? I am being told a heated seat is in the future of our coach.
I am pretty sure you could. It seems the same size as our home one.

Can I use the DOMETIC 320 series replace the 310 series/
You will want to double check clearance from the center of the floor flange to the back wall. The 310 model requires 10" of clearance while the 320 model requires 11" of clearance. Otherwise, other space requirements are the same and will mount to the floor flange the same way.

does this come with a sprayer ?
It does not come with a sprayer, but one can be purchased separately. We have it listed as item number 26779: https://www.campingworld.com/dometic-hand-spray-kit-26779.html

I see the answer to the question (will the dometic 320 come with everything I Need to install it, for a standard Installation.) says that everything that is needed comes with it except the floor flange. My question is will I need a new floor flange?
If you don't already have a compatible floor flange, one can be purchased at the following link: https://www.campingworld.com/mounting-hardware-kit---floor-flange-90221.html#q=floor%2Bflange&lang=default&start=1&cgid=maintain-your-rv%2Frv-hardware-maintenance-repair%2Fdoor-window%2Fdoor-and-window-hardware
