What is the minimum thickness of the roof for this unit. If I mount this on my truck topper (cap) I might add strip of wood around the hole on the inside to accommodate the vent fan. I would like to know minimum thickness of the roof. Use this to keep my dogs cool when they are in the truck bed with the toper.
Minimum roof thickness for installation of the vent is 1".
