Additional Information
The Dometic Brisk II Air Conditioner's smart design and improved materials combine to maximize air flow and performance. It is best-in-class of any standard RV rooftop air conditioner for weight, air flow, and capacity. Tested for use in extreme conditions.

Large air openings promote superior air flow and cooling capacity, while the EPP foam housing both reduces weight and also contributes to improved cooling. The Brisk is incredibly robust; components such as its carbon steel base have proven their durability by coming through vibration tests lasting for 30 hours and more. The optional heater function is ideal for use on cool evenings, with a multispeed blower for users to adjust according to their cooling or heating needs. Great care has also been taken to reduce operating noise – with the motor, compressor, and evaporator bracketed together for vibration-free, quiet operation. Long copper lines and dual rubber bushings are also responsible for minimizing noise and vibration, allowing you to enjoy comfortable temperatures in peace and quiet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sucks Dometic came with a new Colmen camper I purchased from Camping World and after 2 years and 8 days it failed to provide cold air. Only used 5 times and stored inside. Camping World & Dometic would not replace the unit because was 8 days past the warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great unit. No auto setting. Great unit. Very powerful. installed in the front room of a fifth wheel and I Keep it on low most of the time. The only time I put it on medium is when we go to sleep other than that it’s on low fan coldest setting. Very easy install if your trailer is pre wired for a second ac. Hardest part for me was running wires since mine was not pre wired. Only complaint is that it has no auto setting. So the fan is always blowing. Only the compressor shuts on and off when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement upgrade!! Upgraded from the 13500 that was not blowing cold air any more. This was a direct replacement, one plug, temp sensor and four bolts and I was done. It is that easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brisk air I tried it for the first time on a three day heat wave, it was very cool. The unit is a little loud on high but well worth it. I hope it is a durable long lasting unit. Time will tell.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unit went south after 3 trips! Only 3 trips on our Dutchmen Voltage and the A/C stopped blowing cold air! Don't buy a Dometic Air Conditioner...The coil & condenser are from China, and they start to corrode from the 1st moment the A/C is turned on! Our A/C was OEM spec from Dutchmen when we purchased the trailer, so we had no choice which air conditioner we could have.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A/C mounting issue. The mounting nut's are not secured with a weld. They easily "spin" and therefore the mounting bolts (4) cannot be tightened. No manner in which to "hold" the nut with pliers, etc. from top of A/C.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not pleased We have a 2018 Cedar Creek. Out first AC unit lasted about one year. Had to be replaced and to Dometic credit they did cover under warranty. Now just six months later it has gone out again. I have all the confidence that Dometic will honor the warranty again. Just wish they would last longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK air, quit working after year. Bought the unit at local store and installed it and it worked great for about a year and then it stopped cooling as well and started freezing up.Then I started working with the warranty. The warranty on this air condition requires you take your trailer (not the AC unit) to a service center if anything goes wrong. If you buy it and install yourself which isn't hard and anything goes wrong, you have to take your trailer (not just the air condition) to the service center. The warranty requires they check it attached to your trailer which may nor may not involve a charge to you and that they install the replacement which again may or may not involve a charge. If you are a do it yourself type person, I would avoid this unit. If you are are the type that has a service center do everything, then this unit will be fine.

is fthis unit complet or do i need a controler

Asked by: larry l
This is only the rooftop unit, you will also need an appropriate ceiling assembly. A non-ducted assembly with built on manual controls will not require a separate control module. However, if a ceiling assembly is selected for use with a thermostat, a kit that has the thermostat plus control module will be needed. Non-ducted assembly with manual controls: SKU#69943 | optional heat strip - SKU#72431 Non-ducted assembly and wall thermostat: SKU#69942 & SKU#106671(white) or SKU#88474(black) | optional heat strip - SKU#72431 Ducted assembly and wall thermostat: SKU#33946 & SKU#106671(white) or SKU#88474(black) | optional heat strip - SKU#74754
