Additional Information
Fresh air in the palm of your hand!

Whether you are tall or short, with old or new Towables or Motorized RVs, this patent pending air exchange system makes operation as simple as sitting in your easy chair and pushing a button.

The Radio Frequency Handheld Remote has you activating the fan and raising the dome by pressing the mode pad. With the automatic mode, you select your comfort setting and the blades will automatically turn on, off, increase or decrease speed to maintain your temperature choice.

Manual mode allows you to select off or one of 14 fan blade speeds. Includes a custom wall cradle made for your convenience. Select an easily accessible location, install the lightweight cradle, and operate fan from cradled remote or remove and operate fan from anywhere inside or outside your coach.

Equipped with a reversible airflow switch (In or Out air flow), and Rain Sensor. The built in rain sensor closes the dome and turns off the fan blade when the sensor becomes wet; the dome reopens when the sensor dries.

A rain sensor shut off switch and a back up manual dome open/close knob are also provided. Great for any RV with a standard vent opening and installs with the normal 2 wire hook up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only way to go! We have a Fantastic Fan in the bedroom. Wanted a fan in the living room. Thought we would save a few and get the cheaper brand. Bad mistake. Fan worked a couple of times and then quit. Called company and got a replacement part and installed. Fan worked about twice and stopped again. Finally bought this Fantastic Fan and love it. No longer have to get out the step stool to open and close. Got a super deal with Good Sam coupon. Only complaint is opening a little bit instead of all the way is impossible or I just haven't figured it out yet! Camping World shipped for free and very promptly. Highly recommend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the money I purchased this fan 6600 I believe with remote and rain sensoir. It is in my 5th wheel replacing the standard no power vent. All I can say is I should have done this a long time ago. I would give this fan 12 stars if it gave me the option. It works much better than expected. My fan came fast from camping world. Dealing with them was great. I needed to ask questions about the install process. I called Fantastic fan company (phone number was included with fan). I have never been more impressed with a company. They were the best, walking me through EVERY step of the way. Bottom line BUY IT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Remote Fantastic Fan Replacement I replaced an old Fantastic Fan with this new one. The old one had more screw holes so they didn’t match up but that’s easy to fix by just filling the old holes before installation. I love the new fan with its multi speeds and it’s motor is much quieter than the old one. I did find the instruction manual lacking in details on installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does so much more than our old fan Easy to install as a replacement and it does so much more than our original fan did. The thermostat, rain sensor, and variable speeds make it a lot more functional. The ability to reverse airflow is awesome. Can't speak to durability yet, but so far all the features are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kitchen air Easy to install (replacement for kitchen area vent). Hardest part is removing old vent. Works great for creating airflow in or out. Quiet. Intuitive remote control makes it very easy to use. Only complaint is layout of the remote seems overcrowded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an awesome fan! This fan is out of this world. It is very easy to install even without instructions. It really works great! If a rain storm moves in, it will close with just one or two drops of rain on the sensor. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to replace the fan that came with their RV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy sleeping with this fan Wanted a ceiling fan in the bedroom and this fan does the trick. I can have fresh air coming in when I sleep and adjust the flow with the remote control. No need to have an extra noisy fan running in the bedroom anymore when I sleep. Works great with the Fan-tastic roof vent cover letting in lots of air. I have this fan coming in and fan in the living room exhausting out for great air flow through out the RV.

I want to replace a 14"x14" no-fan vent hood with a Fan-Tastic fan and my roof thickness is a little over 5" thick. The fan itself and inside trim piece appears that it will not overlap when assembled. Are higher inside trim pieces available for this?

Asked by: DesertGuy
Yes, a taller, 6" garnish from Fan-Tastic (SKU# 101941) can be ordered through Sales @ 888-626-7576 as it is not listed on our website.

The dome closes by rain sensor and reopens automatically with or without the fan running or any other input correct? if so does it restart the fan at last settings? also what happens if it is blocked by snow will it open

Asked by: Backyarder
When the dome (lid) is open and moisture contacts an active rain sensor, the lid closes and turns the fan blade motor off if it is running. Normal operation may be resumed by following normal start up procedures once the sensor is dry. When the rain sensor dries, the lid will not re-open automatically. Manual opening of the lid using the lift motor knob will bypass the rain sensor with the fan operation resumed to the setting prior to sensor activation. When the rain sensor has been overridden by manually opening the lid, the rain sensor will become active again once it has dried. If the lid of the vent encounters resistance, it should stop to prevent any damage to the lift motor.

can you limit the height that the lid opens? and which roof vent cover works with this?

Asked by: badban350
No, the stop point of the lid cannot be reset by the user but can be manually opened & closed via the black knob on the control assembly. The lift motor is designed to auto-stop if the lid hits an obstruction. Fan-tastic offers the Ultrabreeze vent covers and designed them with their fan vents in mind. We have the Ultrabreeze covers listed as SKU#58894 (white), #86349 (smoke), and #58895 (black).

My current fan/heat/cooler roof unit is not working. Will this unit properly fit into the opening on a 2016 Coachman Leprechaun?

Asked by: Rays
Fan vents such as this and RV rooftop air conditioners/heat pumps both install to an industry standard 14" x 14" cutout in the roof.
