Awesome
I'm on my 4th trailer, one 5th wheel now 3rd Living Qtrs Horse trailer. My first fan replaced the noisy bathroom fan in the 5th wheel, I loved it's So added another above the bed up in the Sleeping area... Installed 2 of these in each of the last 2 Horse campers, immediately changed out the bathroom fan on our brand new horse camper, now have figured out where to run wiring, so will be installing a Create a Breeze over the goose neck sleeping area in our had it; new Trails West. Nothing better to suck the hot air out of the trailer after being gone.. they have all been topped with Ultra Breeze Vent covers, so can leave them open a little all year long when storing.

I'm a big Fan of this fan!
My original and useless bathroom fan exploded on me one day so I decided to give this one a try. I couldn't be more satisfied. Quality made, easy installation, quiet operation. Took me about an hour to install, but that was because the old one was a pain to remove. I love the controls and the way the fan really moves air. Even on the lowest setting, it pulls enough air to feel it from the front of my fifth wheel. I wish I didn't throw
away the instructions, because now I want to wire it to a wall switch. Oh well, great product, great price. I highly recommend it.

Replacement fan
I put two in my RV to replace old ones spent a night with two windows in the back of the rig open about an inch it was 78 in the Rv and 830 when we hit the hay riding to Capitol Reef in the morning by about 10ish I could hear my sister-in-law shouting this guy off and I have to admit it was a little chilly
If your looking for a fan that really clears the house out this would be the one to get.

Great Fan!
I purchased one of these a few yrs ago, a new install in our LQ Horse trailer. Only had to locate ceiling beams near a light (power for fan) MAYBE 2 hour install, start to finish. From cutting the hole to installing a vent cover over this unit. Now, step into a hot trailer, turn on this fan, in 10 minutes most of the hot is gone!! Also installed a vent cover over the bathroom vent. No more musty trailer, can leave vents open all the time! Am upgrading trailers, buying another of these fans and Fan-Tastic Vent covers! This is a MUST on the new one! thanks Camping World!

HUGE improvement over OE fan
Installation was simple. Moves a ton of air; almost too
much. Even on low speed it pulls a lot of heated or cooled
air out of the travel trailer. We just modified how long we
run the fan, turning it on for just a few minutes after a
shower, for example, instead of running it the whole time
we're showering as we did with the factory unit. This thing
is also nearly silent. The noisy OE fan announced to the
neighbors when we were in the bathroom and the stealth of
this unit is appreciated. We also replaced the existing vent
cover with a Create-a-Breeze model.

Installation
Pros: The fan works much better than I had anticipated. Quiet and powerful.
Cons: Since we have an older model RV, we found that there was a slight curvature to our
roof area where we needed to install the fan.
Therefore, we needed to do some sawing of the plastic to make it fit. The frame material
from our old fan was pliable, so easy to cut without a saw. The new fan had a rigid frame,
therefore, we had to do extra measuring and had to hand saw it to shape. This was the only
frustration, but a significant one.

Very Good!!!
We had a "Fan-Tastic" fan in our old unit but never used the reverse direction so this time in our new unit we bought a "Create-A-Breeze" and it is very good. Very quiet compared to that orginal equipment piece of junk. We put it in the bathroom vent hole so at night you can close the door and hardly hear it but enjoy the breeze it is pulling in through the window next to the bed. Once you have one of these (either the "Create-A-Breeze" or "Fan-Tastic" fan) you'll never have a camper without one.

Fantastic Customer Service
First, the fan is great, even on low speed. Installation was easy. But getting it to Canada involved significant
brokerage fees - nearly $50 CDN.
I called to register it for the warranty, and was assured that this wasn't necessary, as Fantastic Fan will take a
customer's word regarding purchase date.
However, the garnish trim was too small, and the manual provided an 800 number to order a deeper one. I
expected a charge and more brokerage fees. When I called to order it, the agent recalled my voice from the prior
call, a week before! I was delighted to learn that the garnish would be shipped totally free in three days, and I
have already installed it.
So, in a nutshell, you get a product made in one of the two countries noted for quality - U.S.A. and Canada - NOT
CHINA! And you add in terrific customer service.

Does this fan come with a built in switch?
Yes, the fan speed control knob also has an Off position.
Date published: 2019-10-04
Can the vent be closed with this fan installed?
Yes, the lid can be closed.
Date published: 2019-07-22
So if this one does not have a motorized lid, which one does. I have a Fleetwood Gearbox. The lid is motorized as well. I need to replace the whole unit but am having trouble finding one. I have 2 stitches one to raise the lid and one for the fan.
The 3350(SKU#8980) and 7350(SKU#37333) models have motorized lifts. However, we carry the aftermarket Fan-Tastic vents which do not have the extra port for a wired wall switch. Wired model Fan-Tastic vents are only available through an OEM dealer such as from a local authorized RV dealership or directly from the RV manufacturer.

Does it come with the interior garnish trim?
The trim is shorter than previous trims - it's only 4 1/2" high. Be sure to check to see if this is enough. (It was not for mine. I had to pay $45 to buy a longer trim piece.)

Can this come with a white or clear cover ?
A replacement lid has to be purchased if you want a different 'color'. We have an opaque white replacement listed as SKU#61043. For a clear lid, our Technical Service Department @ 800.622.6264(M-F, 8:00-5:00 CST) can special order it as part# K1020-00 from the manufacturer.

Will this fit on a 1998 Safari Airstream?
If you have a standard opening of 14"x14" and have 12V electricity to hookup the vent fan to, yes.
Date published: 2019-10-18
Is it an exhaust or an intake fan?
OK. The fan describes it as an intake fan yet many of the comments describe it as an exhaust fan. Which is it?
This is only an exhaust fan; not an intake fan.
