Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quit working after a year The fan worked well and was easy to install but It quit working after one year of light use. I installed it in the bathroom and I think the problem is moisture. It is often dripping water from condensation and when the outside humiidty is is high it quits working only to run again after a few dry days. In the cold of winter I don't use it too much but the last few times I have tried it, I couldn't get it to turn on. When winter is over I am going to try to find what is wrong. I suspect a switch. Toggling the in/out switch sometimes makes it work. Too bad I am not in a dry climate this winter, I was in San Diego last winter when I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! Just spent 10 days in 100+ degree heat in Colorado. The A/C was on during the day, if we were in the camper, and the FantasticFan was on at night when the temp was in the 60's. This fan created a nice breeze in our 23' TT, and it exhausted all hot air right away. We let it run all night on 1, and it cooled us perfectly. It is quieter, more powerful, and superior to the silly little bath fan in most RV's. I bought it on the road, in Denver, installed it in 15 minutes, and am very happy with the results. I only wish that they included some silicone with the fan....this would have saved me a trip back to Camping World (which was fun, but time-consuming).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STANDARD FAN - TASTIC CEILING FAN VENT WITHOUT THERMOSTAT I purchase one of these from Camping World last year to replace the old small fan which is often standard in the bathroom of trailers, etc… so the wiring was already there. The installation was quite straight forward, only minor adjustments needed to be made for the fit. The screw holes though were not in the same plave as the old one but hey a small but drill and fill in the old holes, drop it in, connect the wires and do the sealer on the outside. I am very happy with it. I also bought the vent mesh screen accessory from Camping World to give the fan a sort of extra filtration. I am thinking about putting in another one in my trailer, it will be the third vent fan that I put in my unit, they are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fans I bought 3 of these fans and originally was going to have camping world install them. After opening the box. it looked easy to do myself. Had no problem installing. The hardest part is is wiring to a 12v electrical. If one is already there for a previous fan, you have it made. Otherwise you'll have to tap into a light fixture or anything 12 v. Also I advise you pre drill holes before using the screws to tighten. On older motorhomes the wood becomes so dry and hard that you cant get the screws to go in. These fans run great. Put out some major air in no time at all

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Indeed Have not purchased one recently but mine came with my 2001 Mirage 5th wheel. It is a 3 speed with thermostat. I recently began having some issues with it running properly. Then it completely stopped working. I looked on their website for some parts info and such. Saw the number listed for assistance and made the call. I cannot tell you how polite and patient the gentleman was that assisted me through many different calls to try to solve the problem. Being totally inexperienced with electrical issues he guided me through various power checks and such. Bottom line is he has to send me a whole new screen assembly that contains the various switches, at no cost. Not only is it a great vent fan when working the after sale assistance is remarkable. Get one, you'll be glad you did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Breeze Through Our Aljo We purchased one for the bedroom which is a front bedroom in a 28 foot Aljo pull trailer. It works great and really cuts down on the amount of A/C time. It worked so well that I purchased a second one and replaced the small fan in the rear bathroom with the fan-tastic fan. I use one for intake and the second one for exaust and it really creates a breeze through the trailer. I wouldn't be without a fan-tastic fan and I highly recommend it to anyone. This one is a five star winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm doing it again! We had one of these fans in the galley of our 5 year old 30' motorhome. It did such a wonderful job I'm installing 2 (galley & shower) in our new 36' motorhome. We live in the cool damp climate of the Pacific NW (known locally as the "Incessant Naggy Drizzle State") where window condensation and mildew is a problem. Operating the Fan-Tastic Fan on low at night eliminated window condensation completely and helped keep mildew at bay... even during winter. The slight amount of extra propane the furnace used with the fan running was no big deal. The coach was always dry, warm and never developed that dreaded musty smell. When traveling in hotter climes it kept the coach interior quite cool and minimized the use of the A/C unit. Easy to install and cheap to operate... what's not to like?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value I put off buying one for a long time because of the price. I finally broke down and got one, only to discover that it is worth every penny! We mounted it over the dinette so that the air can be blown down onto the table. Most of the time it cools almost as well as A/C but with very little noise. We dry camp but with this fan we are able to leave it on exhaust during the day to keep the heat from building up. A great little fan and easily worth the cost!

Our fan measures 13 1/4 x 13 1/4. Is this the fan we need?

    Asked by: ARMER
If your current vent were to be completely removed, the rough opening the vent was installed to will likely be 14"x14". This fan vent is designed to fit an opening of 14"x14".

I need to replace a broken fantastic fan. Can this one be hooked up to my wall thermostat like my current fan?

    Asked by: Vagabond
No, you will need to go to an RV dealer and order an OEM model Fan-Tastic vent that can be hooked up to a wall thermostat. All of the models we sell are Retail versions and are unable to connect to a wall thermostat.
