Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pocono Life Purchased the generator to upgrade from my 7500w unit. Wanted a little more power to keep things running during the winter Ice and snow storms that the Poconos are known for. Ordered and delivered 13 days later. Box was in great shape ,no damage! After some minor assembly , wheels, battery connections oil, I was ready to fire it up. Connected a 40lb Lpg tank checking for any leaks, I turned the key ,and it fired up on the first try. A powerful generator, a little pricey but well worth the comfort and security during a long power outage!

In our area, there are almost no sources of Ethanol-free gasoline...nearly everything is E10. What are the effects of Ethanol on this machine in terms of performance, run time, maintenance and longevity?

Asked by: Art
The generator can use gasoline with a 10% or less ethanol cut, so E10 will be acceptable for use with the generator. If gasoline with a higher ethanol cut is used you'll likely experience more frequent carburetor cleanings, and need to drain the gasoline sooner due to storage issues. The impact on performance will be minor, but we don't have any exact estimations on this at the moment.
