Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great twist to an old idea.... I purchased this E-Z Coupler Valve Cap since the old cap that came with my trailer broke one of the prongs. I saw this on Camping World so I thought I would give it a try. I am very pleased with how easy it is to twist this cap on and off with the built in handle. Of course this is a bit more expensive than a regular valve cap but it is well worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handle feature is convenient plus. Hose fitting is useful. I consider the handle on this Valterra E-Z Coupler cap coupler cap a big plus. It makes removing the cap much easier. In addition the handle allows for an additional feature. My sewer connection is directly behind a wheel of my fifth wheel trailer, and the cap tends to get caught in the rotating tire, if accidentally left off the connection while traveling. The rubber “string” on the coupler cap is not strong enough to withstand the cap hitting the rotating tire, so I have lost several caps in the past. With this model I can attach the cap to the RV sewer pipe using a large hose clamp, two key chain rings, and some chain. To do this, hook a ring to the handle, and to a chain, then hook the chain to the hose clamp that is around the sewer connection. By this method I have cut my losses of the cap significantly. In the past years, I have lost several caps (without handles) when not using this method, but only one when using this method. The garden hose connection is also handy, as this allows me to “Y” a second connection for grey water into the main black water sewer line using a Valterra E-Z Coupler 90° Bayonet Fitting that accepts both hose and 3 inch fittings at the sewer end.
