Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Lost my AC compressor with my other unit. Same brand but did not have readings to tell me I was pulling to many amps. With this unit I can see how many amps each appliance is pulling and control use. I loss my AC because of low voltage. I work away from home and stay in my trailer during the week, while I was home over Memorial weekend the unit shut down due to low voltage and when the voltage came back into range it reset and when I got back I notice the microwave clock was off when I checked my unit it had the pe4 code telling me that we had low voltage over the weekend. Great peace of mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Progressive Industries EMS 30?anp system This product worked as advertised. I bought the older version in 2016. Recently the male plug developed a crack between the 2 lower connections and the unit had some difficulty functioning. I contacted Progresive Industries and filed a warranty claim . Sent the the pictures and the claim was approved the same day for a new one . You don’t have to return the damaged one. This is a good product with a company that backs it up with what they advertised as a lifetime warranty. Not always the case with products in the RV world.

If a voltage incident occurs, does the unit shut down the power permanently or just while the low voltage / spike event occurs?

Note: We leave our dog in our rv - don't want him without power for any length of time when hot out, etc...
    Asked by: Anonymous
If the AC power is interrupted, or the EMS detects a fault condition, the built-in time delay of 136-seconds (02:16) is activated, once complete power will restore.

How can you secure this so no one can take it?

    Asked by: Anonymous
There is a metal tab on the pigtail of the surge protector. A cable lock can be fed through the hole in this tab so it can be secured from theft.
