Rated 5 out of 5 by from Measure correctly I ordered online for a 15 foot awning. Unfortunately I did not realize the measurement should have been for the roll up cylinder only and not to include the awning braces. It makes sense. So I am awaiting return instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installation of 19x9 EZ Zip Blocker Have not been able to use yet but I installed the part that is in the awning tube and all seems good. The zipper is a big tooth zipper and the height of the zipper is good so I won't need to use a ladder to install the main screen. Only one weird thing. The unit has 4 grommets to hold the unit down but they send you 3 stakes. I'm going to use screw in stakes anyway for a more secure hold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We would recommend to others and have already! We've only had for a few weeks but seems to be blocking alot of the sun. Still have some heat that comes through because it is mesh so has small holes. We're pleased withe this purchase. Arrived quickly and easy to install once you make sure ahead of time that your awning roller truly has a track to slide the top piece into. We have a motorhome not a trailer and can't guarantee that your awning roller has a track. We would recommend to others and have already!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product needs better anchoring. The screen is easy to install and works very well. One draw back is the number and quality of the stakes. You will need more than the 3 plastic stakes. I would also recommend tying down the two corners of the awning to prevent lifting by the wind. I recommend stakes that are twist in rather than push in. In summary I would buy again but you need to buy 6 twist in stakes and 50' of nylon cord (an extra $10 total).

Asked by: TNT2
There are grommets on the bottom edge of the EZ ZipBlocker so that you can secure it with the provided ground stakes and cord.

My awning is 22ft long will a 19ft with this zipper section create any problems when tolled up

Asked by: Florida winter
A 22 ft. awning should have no problems rolling up with the upper panel of a 19 ft. EZ ZipBlocker still attached.

Have a fifth wheel with 10ft and 19 ft awnings high off ground do I order same length shade blockers and which height 7,8 or 9 ft drop

Asked by: Lombardi
I have a 19ft and 10ft awning also. I had ordered the 19X9 zip blocker. It was too long for my track in the roller and wouldn't work. Make sure you measure the length of your roller. Carefree just came out with new sizes. I am ordering the 17x9. It will fit perfect on my 19ft awning. Mine are very high off the ground also but, can be adjusted. I actually wished that they would make them 12 to 15ft instead of just 9ft. That way you can angle the screen outward to give you more room underneath the awning.

Do you think this would work on installing on the side of a horse trailer?

Asked by: Horselover
The EZ ZipBlocker can be installed on any awning that has an accessory track on the roller assembly. This ZipBlocker does not have any provisions that allow attachment any other way. On the other hand, if you are questioning the viability of installing an awning to your horse trailer, it is highly recommended that you consult with the trailer manufacturer or visit with a local authorized dealer of Dometic or Carefree of Colorado awnings who can directly evaluate said trailer for an awning. https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/find-a-dealer https://www.e-carefree.com/ecarefree30/dealersearch
