Rated 5 out of 5 by from No better round for kids in Pennsylvania I have long believed that a 30/30 Winchester was a substandard whitetail deer cartridge. Growing up in the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania has given me the opportunity to talk to a number of seasoned hunters. I started with a bolt action .30-30 25 years ago and I've use these rounds to harvest young does to a195lb. 9-point. I wanted to write this to let everyone know your ammo outperforms all the others on the range. At 100 yds. It will shoot 3/4"groups no problem. I've dropped at least 10 deer with it, and the rest seldom run over 40 yards. This year my son inherits the rifle and we'll see if he can fill our freezer with our "Blue Box Bullets".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great muzzle velocity-very accurate Power Shok is my "go to" ammunition. I prefer the 30-30a because the muzzle velocity is 2390 FPS. Very impressive for a 30-30 round! I get great groups with this ammunition and I know that I am going to hit what I shoot and can carry this into the bush with confidence. Its high quality too, I never had a misfire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from white tail's nightmare I have ben hunting for 21 years and never used a better bullet! I have taking over 50 white tail and these bullets do a fantastic job. Most crumple in there tracks, I never had one go more than 50 yard! But I only take clean ethical shots. I tried many other brands but I have ben using these for 15+ years because they are the best. This bullet holds together with deep penatration and does a lot of damag!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cycled in Henry as Advertised Loaded, fired, and cycled okay. I am only giving it a 4 because this was only a bench test - not live hunting. My groups with a rear ghost sight on my Henry were within 3 inches at 75 yards, and a couple 'zingers' off the paper and into the dirt pile backstop, which could be due to the shooter, not the ammo. :-) As far as safety, I like the flat nose for stacking cartridges in a tubular magazine.
