Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally - A griddle that works For years I have tried various griddle options for grills and stoves only to end up disappointed in the results. I was looking to replace my aging disgracefully propane grill and decided to take a chance on the FT600 since you can remove the Griddle and use it as a grill. I don't think I've used my stove since I got this thing, it's made great breakfasts, stir frys, burgers, cheese steaks and even pork griot. I find I can cook faster with this than my old grill ever did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value and Quality!!!! I received my well packed and protected Flat Top/Grill yesterday and immediately opened the (2) boxes and read the manuals. Then I set forth to put the grill together. No worries on assembly, however, they are heavy. All you need are a Flat/ Philips screw drivers and may need a light mallet to align the bottom and top shelf to start the screws. The instructions are well illustrated...... perfect! I love it!! It's heavy duty with a lot of porcelain protected construction!!Thanks for being out there!!! Great item!!! Thank you!! Semper Fi! Godspeed!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my Off set Smoker! I use my off set smoker for everything but a griddle on lump wood charcoal is a challenge! I finally pulled the trigger and bought the FT600 this weekend. Fantastic piece of cooking gear, the quality of the components are really impressive. The ignitors and controls are very responsive, and the griddle is solid. Breakfast, Street Tacos, 4 lbs of sausage and ground beef + mixed veggies for a Sheppard's Pie, and Red Snapper Filets in the first weekend! This thing is amazing! Now all I need to do is learn how to juggle my spatulas like the chefs at your local Japanese Steak-House.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Flat Top & Beer = Good Times & Memories I finally gave in and purchased the Camp Chef FTG600 after months of comparing several manufacturer's products. Excellent product and has been fun to cook on. Wish it would've came with Camp Chef's spatula's, scraper and bottles. The store did not carry them and I had to purchase a competitors :( Beware: the smell that will permeate throughout the neighborhood will have people stopping by to see what's going on. Great conversational piece and good way to meet new people that can't resist seeing what's making their sense of smell go into overdrive. Getting ready to make some chicken parmesan on the griddle. I recommend doing a lot of recipe research as the product is much more than a pancake griddle as I seen some reviews claim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Cook on it nearly every day Have had this for over a month now, and I use it for most dinners (5+/wk) and weekend breakfasts. Took a couple tries to get used to the temps, but well worth it. I built a cover for it from some 12 ga steel (made a 3” tall box that covers about 1/3 of the top) which works well when it’s windy. No complaints, love this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my FTG 600, but.... I’ve used my FTG 600 several times now and find it remarkably fun to cook on. My only complaint is the smallish size of the grease catcher. Cooking 5 lbs of bacon, I have to empty it after about half way through. Found an aftermarket unit that holds twice as much liquid. On this issue, Camp Chef can do better. I did!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flat top value Used this for the first time feeding the adults at a Scout outing. This thing is awesome! The griddle heats very evenly from edge to edge (varied about 20еЎ across the entire surface, outdoors with a breeze). The grease catcher is very useful. Clean-up is easy. Have not used it as a grille as the clean-up looks scary. It's small and light enough to be fairly portable. Made a plywood top so I could transport it upside down as the legs are not very sturdy. I think the next addition will be a base with casters to make mobility a little easier.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cooks great, poor craftsmanship I have had mine for three weeks now and cooked on it several times; it cooks great and does what I hoped to do. When we received and assembled, the griddle went together easy and instructions were layout well. The problem is that when we went to roll it into the carport, the handle broke off, that was a nice feeling. I went with camp chef over black stone for other reasons too, but thought they looked to better made.
