Having a lot of problem connecting the 3" sewer hose on? the 1" hose no problem. But the 3" can't get it to go on. Even tried oil.
The hose used for the intake needs an interior diameter of at least 3" or more to slip on to the pump. Here is an install video by 'TV for My RV' for a kit that includes the same macerator pump, the intake is using a corrugated non-collapsible hose. If the hose you are using is unable to slip on the pump, the diameter is too small. You can go as far as a 3.5" diameter as long as the hose can seal completely on both ends.
