Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised We picked up this unit -- takes about 5 minutes to empty a 50 gallon tank into our septic system at home. Saves trips to dumping stations after all day on the road. Not ready to be used when you get it. We needed to add some additional wire and battery clamps so we could hook it up to our 12 volt battery -- power cord provided doesn't have enough string. Once you get past that and have the power situation worked out, works like a champ. ** Warning -- manual says not to use a hose over 50 feet and not to run the unit for more than 15 minutes straight -- something to consider when you are making your purchase or selecting options.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flojet macerator pump - love it Have had it for 4 years now, with no problems. Best used with tank flush jet. Make sure you keep shut off valve and exit, just in case, but I have never had any problems. Pumps my 50 gal tank in a few minutes. I keep 3 lengths of d/c clear hose in the back bumper. This liquifies everthing in the tank, no fem. hyg. though, but toilet paper and everything is no problem. I was part time for 3 years and now full time and would not give this pump up after seeing what others go through. This is sooo much neateer, cleaner, and easier. When combined with the tank sprayer makes short work of dumping. You can also buy blade rebuild kits, but so far my unit just keeps working and working. Would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flojet Macerator Pump I have had my flo jet for a few years now, but finally hooked it up in place of my dump line, and it works like a champ. It does take much longer to dump a tank, but it is a lot cleaner job now that all i do is run a hose out to the sewer. I dump the solid waste first, then follow with the grey water tank, then with fresh water. So the hose is clean when I put it away. This is no longer a nice to have item, it's a need to have. Easy to install, stays in place, takes less room, works great,, what else could a person ask for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just love it no more 3" I love it. No more 3" hose storage and use problems. I use a 3/4" garden hose. The pump screwed to the floor of the sewer compartment and is connected to the dump vaulve with a 2' section if 3". I used 2" section of 1" hose from the pump so I can connect the garden hose to the pump. This lets me see when the black water tank is clean when I flush it. Had a problem with the first pump, as it had a faulty heat sensor. Camping World replaced it with a new one and has worked great ever since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flo Jet Macerator Pump We frequently stay at our son's house and have to leave when the black water tank is full. We purchased the macerator pump and 60' of 1 hose and I can't believe how well the pump works. Is quick with no mess. I was going to just use it at our son's house but now I think I will mount it in the motor home. I had them cut the hose so I have 2 30' hoses. Will carry one of them. Also had to pump 60' with a 3' incline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sewage Macerator pump My pump looks a little different than the photo but works like a champ. I empties a 40 gallon sewer/40 gray water tanks in about 20-30 minutes with no mess, no fuss. I just hook it to the sewer line (as my 5th wheel has a swing out sewer line), plug into power and let it go. It pumps over 100 feet through a 5/8 garden hose. Cleans up in a flash. One of the best additions to my 5th wheel I have purchased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jabsco Macerator Pump I have used the macerator pump now for a couple of years with very good luck. set up on a seasonal site, I was unable to get a tote tank low enough to empty directly into. The pump now allows me to pump directly into a 100 gallon dump wagon I made. Care must be taken to keep feminine products out of the holding tank to avoid jamming the pump otherwise the macerator blades work fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from problem solved On extended stays we like to park with the windshield on our class A facing the best view. This often meant we were on the wrong side of the park sewer outlet. With our FloJet we park as we like and easily run the recommended 1 inch hose to the sewer hook up when necessary. We have also found we get better evacuation of the tanks using the FloJet. Herb and Ardy, full timer RVers.
