Additional Information
The FloJet RV Waste Pump Kit lets you empty holding tanks through a garden hose into a portable tank, toilet, sewer clean-out port, or septic tank, thereby avoiding the dump station. The macerator section grinds waste down to a particle size of 1/8" maximum so it can easily be pumped through a garden hose (5/8" minimum). The pump section is self-priming, permitting the unit to be mounted above the tank in a convenient location. Empties most recirculating toilets in less than 2 minutes; empties a typical 30-gallon holding tank in less than 3 minutes. Will not handle hard solid objects, sanitary napkins, or rags. One-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

Key Features:
• Connects directly to the RV waste outlet
• Eliminates 3" (75mm) sewer hose
• Garden hose discharge port
• Freshwater rinse capabilities
• Remote handheld on/off switch with 6' (1.8m) wire harness
• Ability to dump longer distances
• Ability to drain holding tanks at home
• Easy clean-up and storage
• Rugged, portable storage case
• USCG and CSA listed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pump Works Great! I have never felt like doing a product review before, but this product is the best thing since canned beer. I have a small class B motor coach (Airstream Interstate built on a Sprinter Van) with fairly small grey and black water tanks so they need to be dumped after just about every trip. However, the closest dump station to our home is nearly 35 miles away—a big pain of a round trip just to dump the tanks. With this pump, I am able to run 150 feet of 3/4 hose to my septic tank at the back of my property and save the trip. The black water tank is drained in literally 1 minute and the gray water in a minute and a half. This thing works better than I dreamed to hope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing 150ft 6 ft incline So I read a bunch of reviews to see if it would work for my situation and I went for it I got 2 40 gallon tanks grey and black we had been using 2 ply toilet paper... I needed to pump 120 feet and 6 foot incline so on a review I read stayed 3/4 hose so I bought 150 feet of 3/4 hose and it pumped like crazy it took longer to hook the garden hose up and power the pump than it did to pump 80 gallons must have if your living in a trailer and need to dump long distance and or up hill great product easy to use and clean best part of it I didn't get any goods on my hands the whole time I used it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a GREAT product! I had a clogged black water holding tank and had quotes from $240 to $350 to unclog so I decided to tackle the job myself and took a chance on the Flojet and am I ever glad that I did! Once I broke through the clog with a 20' plumber's snake I used the Flojet to pump the tank through 50' of garden hose up an incline of about 4' to my sewer cleanout plug. Worked like a champ! We flushed the black water tank 5 times and the gray tank twice. I've never seen both tanks empty on my monitor before until now! Very pleased with this product and I now have a great way to give my tanks a good flush and clean as needed. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product I have been looking for a solution to draining my holding tanks at home. I read the product reviews for this item and decided to give it a try based on the good rating. As stated by the others - this product works FANTASTIC! I am using a 75 foot 3/4 inch hose to run 55 feet from my coach to the sewer clean out. It gets the job done in no time at all. The push button on/off switch allows you to turn it on and let it run until you hear the unit running dry. I use a clear 4" connector tube in order to monitor the process. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to dump at home and has a clean out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If there is an easer way I don't know what it would be. I bought my FloJet about 14 months ago. With the flush back system I think I removed things that were left by the last owner of my motor home. It is the best way to handle this part of camping. If you are looking for an answer to the dumping problem this is it. I ran me a 12 volt wire back to the dump valves and all I do is plug in the remote, hook up the hoses and the job will be over so quick you won't know it even happened. By turning on the flush back hose just a little you can run the pump motor and clean the unit before it is ever removed. Don't try this with full water pressure and both drain valves closed. Bad things will happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FloJet RV Pump -Very Good The State Park purchased a FloJet pump, as there was no sewer connection in the campground Host site. I assembled the wiring harness, & secured the recommended hoses. We very easily pumped out my full black water tank (125) one-hundred-twenty-five feet and up a five foot rise into a restroom toilet. I also easily rinsed the tank clean, in much less time and effort than driving around the Campground to dump. The 3/4 outlet hose and a clear elbow on the tank outlet are a must have, as is a person on the end of the hose. I highly recommend the FloJet Pump, however the I had to shop elswhere for the three-quarter inch hose and alligator-battery clips. I hope to buy my own this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best waste discharge system on the market. I've had this brand of pump many years ago when I had a boat and it worked great. Never an issue. When I saw the same brand designed for a camper I bought it and has worked great until a locking tab broke. That tab was not a FloJet item and I couldn't find a replacement so I found this item and bought it based on previous experience. It's fantastically well built system and the locking tabs are very substantial. I've never had a pump failure so I've got a spare pump from the first RV pump purchase. I would highly recommend this waste discharge system for any RV. I discharge through a 1" garden hose I bought just for this and it works great. Great value and very good price for what you're getting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works as advertised. This is the 3rd Flojet I have purchased, after about 3 to 4 thousand gallons of waste pumped (40 gallon black water tank & 55 gallon grey water tank), the "rubber" impeller fails. The macerator is metal but the impeller that actually pumps the waste water is rubber. Yes I follow all the recommendations including not running it dry (hard to completely empty tanks without 5 to 10 seconds of very low water being pumped) and only Flowjet approved items in black and grey water tanks. Flowjet makes it impossible to order replacement parts, resulting in a "new" pump purchased every 3 to 5 years.

Can this be used without hooking up the fresh water hose if camped where freshwater hookup is not available? If so, then simply plug the fresh water connection on the pump?

Asked by: Rich
Yes, this waste pump can be operated without hooking up a fresh water hose. The fresh water inlet has a On/Off valve on it, you can leave it in Off position until needed.

Power Converter

What power converter would you use to hook this up to 110 home power? Do you guys sell one? Thanks!

I have been very successful using a 12-volt peak amp jump starter with built-in battery to power my FloJet waste pump. Most jump starters can be charged with a standard 120 VAC outlet and can serve double-duty if you vehicle ever has a dead battery. Mine has enough power from a full charge to run my pump enough to empty both of my waste tanks at least a half-dozen times between charges. Camping World sells the Black & Decker 1000 Peak Amp Jump Starter for less than $100 or the Stanley Peak Jump Starter with 125 psi Compressor for about $105.

Will flowjet work emptying into a standard toilet ?

Is 50 foot the maximum hose length, when flow is down hill slightly ?
Asked by: George
Yes, you can use a standard toilet connected to a city sewer system for emptying your holding tank through the waste pump kit. 50 ft. is the manufacturer recommendation max hose length to avoid damage to the unit. Customers have successfully used longer lengths, using gravity to your advantage(downhill) will not provide the same level of resistance compared to going uphill. So a longer hose can be used as long as the macerator pump is carefully monitored to keep from overheating.

Does it have a grey water bypass so you can dump the gray water tank continuously?

Asked by: Anonymous
No, a bypass would have to be constructed by the owner.

Does the unit have to be supported by something in addition to being attached to the sewer dump pipe ?

Asked by: Anonymous
No, additional support to brace/mount the waste pump is not needed.
