Poor way to attach screen
After a frustrating go at attaching the screen with the two provided springs, I hot footed it to my local hardware store and purchased four stainless steel machine screws
including needed nuts and flat and lock washers. I then had it installed in no time with the insurance that I wouldn't
lose the screen somewhere down the road if using the provided springs. However, I still would recommend the
purchase of this item versus going without.

Does not fit
Better measure your vent before ordering this. This
particular screen did not fit my Suburban heater vent hole
and CW does not stock the one that does. They had to special
order from the manufacturer. Other than that, all of these
insect screens are of good quality. I think these large
screens need at least 4 of the springs to keep them securely
in place.

screen for water heater
Was easy to install and fit well. Will need to see how well it stays on and how long the
little springs last. I noticed that the edge of the screen left little marks on the side of the
trailer as I moved it around. Perhaps a little coating of non-marking rubber on the edge
would be helpful, even if does raise the price a buck or so.

Very tricky to install
When installing this screen, they give you two tiny springs which holds the screen in
place, you have to use this tiny tool to grab the springs and push them into place...Very
hard to do.. Other than that once installed seems to keep the wasps and mud dobbers
out.

Flying Insect Screen for Atwood 6 & 10, Suburban 6 Water Heaters
A small price to pay for the protection that you will get from this screen. It was a little tricky to
get the springs hooked to hold it on, but the tool that came with it made it easier. I was
concerned about if falling off, but after 2 trips it 's still in place.

A good purchase
Was very easy to install and fit perfectly. I only wish that they came with 4 mounting
springs instead of two so that it would fit tighter and not slide around as easily. Note that
this will scratch your camper if allowed to move around too much

Needs a cushion
Good fit, easy install, but needs some type of cushion to keep from rubbing paint from RV as it will easily move in the wind when traveling since it's held in place by springs. Plan to locate some type of cushion before traveling with it.

Mud daubers made nest in water heater last summer
and it took me an hour to scrape all of nest out of tube with straightened hanger.
Hopefully this will keep it from happening this summer. Neighbors surprised that such
screens exist and thought awesome.

Does this fit the newer style atwood suburban style vents?
We have a 2016 5th wheel, and we were told that the older vent screens will not fit the newer vents on the Atwood Suburban water heaters.
SKU#37388 will fit a majority of Suburban and Atwood water heater doors. However, for the doors that have intake louvers on Suburban units, use SKU#81386. For Suburban units that are flush mounted, look for Camco part#42151.
