Essential and Functional
Quick and easy install. The Front folding shelf is essential in my book for any grill. Makes life easy when transferring meat on or off the grill. I do use the hopper as a shelf as well but I couldn't set a larger sized serving tray on it. Folds down out of the way when not in use and the cover fits over it no problem. If you're going to spend the money on the smoker do yourself a favor and get the shelf as well.

Folding Shelf is a must have
The grill is a must have but the shelf is really something you have to have if you purchase this grill. I also use the hopper as a shelf but now with the addition of the great fold down accessory the Traeger is perfect. Assembly is simple and takes 10 minutes.

Perfect addition to Junior Elite
Received in a timely manner. Simple to set up but instructions were very confusing. They give you two options to install and do not specify that on the instructions. I spent an hour trying to figure it out then it suddenly clicked that it was one or the other option. Once I understood it took 5 min to install. I put some heavy duty magnetic hooks to carry my bbqd tools not Im all set and ready for memorial day weekend.

Folding front shelf
We love the folding front shelf for out Traeger. I do think for the price it should have been included in the initial purchase. Without it we needed two people to take things on and off the grill since ours is around the corner away from the table so as not to obscure our view. The one thing we have to be careful with is the temperature gauge for the lower warming oven on our grill. If you just let the shelf down without lowering in gently it could easily crack the glass on the gauge for the lower grill.

Easy Install
Ordered the shelf and it was sent to my within 5 days. After looking at the directions boom I went out to do the Task. Hey it was easy took a whole 10 minutes. Works as described good investment and Easy to Install. What a difference a shelf makes.
