Additional Information
Fusion Rifle Ammunition consists of a specialized deer bullet that electrochemically joins pure copper to an extreme pressure-formed core to ensure optimum performance. The result is high terminal energy on impact that radiates lethal shock throughout the target. This energy is optimized through mass weight retention, a top-secret tip-skiving process, and superior bullet integrity. 20 rounds per box. Manufactured by Federal. Shipped ground only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Bang for reasonable buck Originally purchased the 130gr fusions for whitetail in 2013 and shot a doe and nice Whitetail buck that scored 167 7/8. Both were one shot kills from 140yards and 165yards respectively(Range Finder). The following year I shot a cow moose from 312 yards(range finder) with 150gr bullet and the moose never took 3 steps. The bullet entered between two ribs and exploded the heart but never exited. This was all shot using an old hand me down Remington Model Four in .270. I would definitely recommend this bullet to anyone who wants a premium bullet on a low price scale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate and good on deer in the 270 WIN I've been shooting fusions for good while in several rifle. The bullet is a great performer at standard 270 Winchester speeds. Shot a 6 pt buck at 125 in the shoulder and it poked right through. Exit was about half dollar sized. I got a big doe at 250 yard. Just behind the shoulder. Same wound, same performance. 270 WSM Guys,.. I hear a lot of you complain about 130 grain bullets exploding. When I do Its seems you're shooting under 200 yards. I've also seen it in person. You're doing two things wrong. First,.. you need to be shooting a 150 gr bullet, second you need to be shooting lungs, hearts, and necks under 200 yards. It the speed with the lighter bullets that's your problem not just the bullet. That and shooting the shoulder. 270 WSM is crazy fast. You having the same issues the 270 WBY guys have had for years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Groups I was shooting this just the other day at 550 yards at a 20 degree angle in 5-15 mph wind and they performed awesome. Groups were good considering the wide wind range and gusts. Shooting out of a 17 year old Savage 111 with 800+ down the tube (first deer gun). Very good shooting round and I can't wait to push it out farther and see how she does. Have lots of confidence in this round and the grouping was excellent. Haven't taken this hunting yet so can't speak to that but I've heard good things on the forums. The one thing I'm disappointed in is that they don't list the drag factor, Is it G1 or G7? I assume it's G7 but I've never confirmed it. Will be buying lots more and well priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible accuracy and terminal performance I had used a competitor's ammo for years and loved the price and terminal performance but was not happy with the accuracy. I tried the 150 gr. Fusion in .308 and I was amazed at the tightness of the groups I was getting from my old Remington 760. I had my doubts about the bullet holding together as well as the other one but I have killed several animals now with the Fusion and I am always very pleased with the result. Whether I take a shoulder shot or a boiler room shot the result is always the same. The farthest I have seen a deer move after the shot is about 20 yards on a heart/lung and DRT on a shoulder shot. I like the price, love the accuracy, and can't beat the terminal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hunting & All Around Ammunition I am an Outdoorsman and Hunter with 50(+) years of experience. I just don't like the Fusion Ammunition, I love it! I've been using the 130 grain BT in a .270 caliber and it has been performing flawlessly on everything from Texas Whitetails, Feral Hogs, and Exotics. It's performance at the practice range is also exceptional. You owe it to yourself to try it...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Performance: Ballistic and Terminal Fusion exceeds my expectations from factory ammo. It groups under MOA in my Weatherby, and performs well at mid ranges on medium sized deer (fallow) and pigs. At 250-350 yards, it's not quite exiting on shoulder shots: lovely expansion along with great penetration. It does tend to exit at under 200yds on small game, but a lot of guys like that: I think it's suitable for anything up to Sambar, or even larger, provided you do your bit right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent and accurate. Took a Cous white tail down with one shot from 280 yards last fall. Looking forward to this fall with the same ammo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 270 WSM 150 gr Fusion Have not had the space or time to set up reloading equipment. Ran out of handloads. Picked up a couple of boxes of Fusion 150 gr for 270 WSM. Accuracy good, Penetration good. Have shot several animals from close range up to 425 yards (Moose at 425). Excellent cartridge. Wish the bullets were available for reloading.
