Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not hold up the door I purchased 5 of these. Only one worked on a smaller door on the passenger side. I had previously replaced an original with the same brand some time ago. The older replacement (which had become marginal) was better than the new one I just bought. I am not sure where the 40 lb. rating comes from, but they won't work on a normal RV door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not strong enough I ordered four of these for the big luggage door on my Bounder and they would not hold the door open. The only one they worked on was on a small door on the passenger side.
