Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gas Prop I measured the OAL = 20in, guessed at weight = 60lbs, but the number 2080 was on old, I didn't realize that 80 was what I needed but 60LBS works. I need to spend my time at CW seeing what they have that I need! Anybody can change the bad for a good one.

How do I remove the old ones?

Asked by: Anonymous
It depends on the design of the mount bracket the gas prop is connected to. Usually the bracket is a ball type mount, so you just need to use enough force to push/pull the gas prop off the bracket while making sure whatever the prop was holding will not fall/slam on you while doing the removal.

How do these attatch? I want to use these on the storage door under the bed and currently don't have any support or lift mechanism.

Asked by: Wayne
These attach with mounting brackets (sold separately here: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/gas-prop-bracket-1in/49816).

How do you measure gas props?

Asked by: gene
The listed measurement (20" in this case) are the fully extended length, end to end.
