Rated 4 out of 5 by from All's well that ends well! And a great chair too. This is a great chair for us older campers! It is my second one. I flat wore the fabric on the first one out as I not only took it when traveling and camping but used it at home, however the chair is not the best part of the story. I ordered one on sale at a great price and they ran out. I was first told that they were on backorder and mine would ship when in. I never received it, and after 6 weeks I wrote a couple emails which were not answered by mail, however I just received one of the chairs which replaced the first in the catalog. This was the proper ending but it took some followup and proding to get the correct response.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Chair I recently purchased two of these chairs. I also have two of the other rocker that has the piston rocking mechanism. I enjoy both but this one is the best. The biggest improvement is that on the back rock there is no stop. On the other chair you hit a hard stop when rocking backwards. To me this is irritating. Another advantage of this chair is that it folds up into a cylinder shape and can be placed in it's carry bag. The other folds flat and takes up more room in the RV. These chairs haven't made it to the RV yet. They're so comfortable they're sitting in my living room as we speak.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some good features, some draw backs I like a lot of features of this chair like it's stability, the front legs that add security when getting up and down, the arms are comfortable, the seat is comfortable. The disappointing features for me are that it does not rock completely smooth (there's a slight hesitation at the start and stop of each rock cycle) and I need to have a foot stool to make rocking easy since I'm only 5'3" tall. My friend (also my height) got the other model and likes it better but it does not have the same features as mine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great if you are not short. Hubby definitely would give it a 5. He is 6 ft and the nice high back is very comfortable. I, on the other hand, am only 5 ft and am using a block so my feet touch the ground! Not the perfect rocker for shorty.

I wondered the same thing, so I checked the GCI web site, and these are the dimensions from there: Open size: 26 x 24.8 x 39.8 in (66 x 63 x 101 cm) Seat height: 19.7 in (50 cm)
