Great tie down system
I found this tie down system after I had returned another more expensive system that didn't work for my awning. The Happy Hook system really works and it's such a great price. It's simple to use. To change the length, I just untie the knot (twist the rope as you push it out of the knot, to unknot it easily) and then just reknot it where you need it. The package even has instructions on how to tie a proper knot, so it won't loosen. This really worked for my awning.

They do work
I like the way they fasten easily to the tube and help keep it tight. I don't like the bottom
tie down. It is not adjustable without undoing it from the stake and guessing at where to
tie the knot then stressing the awning as you strech it down over the stake. They need a
simple pull and lock, pull and release, system like most all others use on tie down
straps.

It works, it really works...
It held my awning in place while being located along the Atlantic Ocean for a weeklong
vacation in Myrtle Beach. Easy to understand and install with no issues. I didn't have any
loosening to worry about and it stayed in place.

works well. easy to set up but many types of ground your not able to screw down anchors
so I use rebar.

My awning goes almost to the end of the tube ( 1" between the tube cap and awning) how wide are the happy hooks?

Can this be used on electric awnings?
It can be used but you need to make sure and un-install it before closing the awning and would not be recommended for a weather pro that automatically closes based on weather.
