Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extending saw for Xmas The reason I bought this was because of the reviews and was looking forward to having this for home use however, I have found the below: Blade is not very sturdy and you have the saw mounted to the pole. The blade will flex a lot. When the same is snapped into the pole, it comes off easily if bumped when extended. The blade is not long enough to really get a good down stroke cut when cutting limbs 10' or higher. The actual saw is made of a polymer body which is very flimsy and does not feel sturdy. The extending pole has small locks located at the ends of each extension that will come unlocked without notice. This will leave the extension potion free floating and the user will not be able to cut. The extending pole when collapsed feels sturdy however the extension pieces on the inside move back and forth creating a clanging sound and when extended is not tight when extensions are locked in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from had heard good things Had heard good things about this saw so I purchased one back in November. Used it afew times clearing shooting lanes a total of about 5 limbs. It cut great did what I wanted it to do but then I used it at home and the tab broke off the saw where it clips in to the extension pole. So now I have a nice hand saw. Hope to be able to return it for new one.
