Features
JD Webb has progressed his riding to new levels thanks to the shape and construction of the Relapse. Thanks to Hyperlite's Crossover Core technology, which combines two advanced core materials, the Relapse provides great flex characteristics but maintains its rocker line between the bindings. The shape itself features a blended 3-stage rocker line for more speed and pop. Inspired by JD Webb's riding style, the Relapse also has mellow tip and tail channels and a single concave base feature, so it can maintain a strong edge hold. Combine all of this with a full 360° ABS sidewall and full Sintered Enduro base, and you have one of the most durable boards on the market. Tri-ax layered glass allows the board to remains strong and still flex. High gloss UV finish. Beveled center edge.
Poptop: For those who love the snap and ollie power a natural wood deck provides, but can't sacrifice the reduced weight and contours of a Bio3 core. This additional birch laminate sits between the rider and the first layer of fiberglass, allowing for the feel of a natural wood core directly under foot.
Bio 3 Core: This core material is the gold standard in the industry and used throughout the Hyperlite line. Bio 3 is the lightest and most durable formula to date.
Layered Glass: Hyperlite's fiberglass is available in 3 weights depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass, every Hyperlite deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Monocoque Construction: Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one creates a more durable board on side impacts, thus preventing delamination.
