The JL Audio M6-880X Marine Coaxial Speaker delivers exceptional performance with 36% more cone area than the 7.7" model and nearly double the excursion capability, providing a massive +6 dB increase in low-frequency output. This allows the M6-880X to produce impressive bass on its own, eliminating the need for a subwoofer, but it also pairs perfectly with one for enhanced dynamics and mid-bass impact.
A new 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter handles high frequencies, offering louder, cleaner sound with extended frequency response that perfectly complements the 8.8-inch woofer. The speaker also includes a multi-order 2-way passive crossover, protected from vibration and corrosion, and a solid-state tweeter protection circuit to prevent damage.
