Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jumbo Level with Mounting Bracket Just a note about installation on a Reese Revolution pinbox installed by Forest River on some 5ers. The pinbox is more narrow than the minimum adjustment of the brackets as shown. You will need to add about 1/2" spacers on both sides to fit correctly (and longer self-tapping screws). Mine has started having bubbles on the inside of the tube after sitting stationary in the sun - will probably go away when I start towing. We'll see how the liquid stands up to sub-zero Canadian temperatures this winter!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bubble watcher I find the Ball inside the level helpful when I first pul onto a site to give me an idea how much I'm going to need to put under my wheels and what side is low. It had worked 99% of the time accurately. A few dollars and time reallly doesn't matter to me. The last one was put in with the deal on the trailer. The Ball also helps me for peace of mind while traveling on Highway to insure tires are hard and when a shackle broke I could tell, by how level the trailer leaned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me... After reading several reviews here and elsewhere, there seemed to be a mixed bag of it works or it is trash. Fortunately, it works for my group. I mounted it on the front of my FunFinder about a foot from the street side edge. I can see it in the mirror while I'm backing up, which is very handy, as I can watch the ball and the side / end of the trailer at the same time in my side mirror. By judiciously moving the trailer a little and watching the level, I can usually find a spot that is pretty close without having to use my leveling blocks. Never had a problem with the ball sticking, but, the fluid in the tube is thick and the ball doesn't move around real quick, something that I actually prefer. In a less viscous fluid you would have to wait for the ball to stabilize in one position to get a read...you have to wait either way :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from At a Glance With just a glance at this level you can quickly tell the difference whether your camper is level on the pad while you are moving into position. The graduation scale on this jumbo level is fairly accurate to indicate the amount of adjustment that is needed to raise one side if necessary. And...this one comes with a mounting bracket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jumbo level Awesome piece of kit for backing into a site and knowing ahead of time how close to level your coach is, permitting you to know ahead of time what corrections you need to apply to park in a level. Both side to side and fore/aft level indicated. Easy to install, worth its weight in gold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy way to level your 5th wheel When pulling your 5th wheel into a camping site, you are about to see if your side by side is level. I can look out my rear view mirror and see how level I am without getting out of my truck. If you are level side by side, leveling front to back is a snap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jumbo Level Had bought one in 2004. Very easy to read from drivers seat.Needed to buy new one as liquid leaked out of unit. Onlyneeded the bubble gauge only and had to buy whole assembly.Would be nice to buy parts only as needed.

Where and how do you mount it on a Travel Trailer?

Asked by: Chuck
The level is mounted on the front in view of the tow vehicle rear view mirror. Some owners have installed more to the left or right to view from a side view mirror instead. On a 5th wheel, the included bracket is used to mount on the kingpin. You can click here to watch a quick video of the level being installed on a Travel Trailer.

Mounting

My 5th wheel pin box is only 10 inches wide. Is there a way for me to mount this level to my pinbox?
Asked by: Anonymous
You can go to a hardware store and purchase a small diameter metal tube, cut it down to about 1/2" to 1" and use it as a spacer for each side of the mounting bracket. Minimum width is 11-1/8".
