What a life saver
When it comes to my good steak and carving knives, I have a
huge issue with keeping them within easy reach or even
clattering against each other in a drawer. I purchased one
of these knife safes from Camping World in Seffner, Florida
almost 3 years ago. It's the most practical knife saver I've
ever seen. It fits on the back of my dish cupboard, and I
did screw it in for durability. Now it's out of reach from
my small grandchildren, yet is easy for me to access. Plus,
as soon as I wash my knives I can replace them and not
worry. The space they are hanging in is recessed just enough
to both keep the blades out of harm's way AND for the door
to close properly. It's well-worth the price.

Not yet in use, but it looks great
Due to my cupboard design, it's going to take a little
tweaking to insert a piece of wood on the back of the
cupboard door so that I have a place to secure this knife
holder. The screw holes are in the wrong place, and the
design of the holder is such that we don't want to just
drill new holes. If you want to use it without any
remodeling of your door, make sure that the inside of your
door is completely flat, with no edge framing. It's not a
big deal to put in a spacer of wood for this to secure to,
it's just on a list of about 200 things and hasn't made it
to the top yet.

Just what I needed
I am now full timing and it was a challange to determine what I needed to keep and throw away, but my cooking knives was a certain keeper. Next question was where to put them. I only have one drawer which holds eating utensils, but plenty of cabinets for
bigger stuff. The knife rack mounted right next to the stove where I needed them, and freed up space in my untensil box in the cabinet. The knife rack prevents them getting dull and they are held securely in there space. Money well spent as far as I am concerned. I will add a few drawers in time, but moving in full time is working out well for me.

Pleased with knife safe
I bought a knife safe several years ago and attached it to the back of a cupboard door with the two-way tape supplied. I loved having it and the only criticism I ever received was from
people looking for knives in my kitchen drawers. They became quite frustrated. Both my
husband and my grandson tried to take it down when I moved into a new home. It was so
firmly attached it was left behind. I plan to buy two more for my new home on my next trip
to Camping World.

Very convenient and out of the way
We purchased this product three years ago and had no issue with the knife set we use in our RV. Installation was easy and the storage behind the door (out of the drawers) eliminated the saftey issue of a drawer full of knives. We recently upgraded of RV and had to leave the "safe" in the old RV. It remains very securely attached!
We are currently making a list of items for our new rig and the knife safe is near the top of the list.

Knife safe
Handy safe for bigger knives is described accurately. I hung it inside the cabinet door
and it works well. The only suggestion I would make is to add a strip of plastic across
the lower part to hold the blades more securely in the safe. I took a piece of stiff
cardboard and attached it around the bottom of the knives, that solved my concern.
Great product for the money.

Convenient
I wanted something to hold our knives to make more room and to be more convenient. I mounted this with ease. I would have liked a magnetized one better as some of the knives don't seem to fit as well as they should. I am happy they are out of the drawers though.

I presume that the knives are NOT included because of the low price....but since it isn't written anywhere I wanted to double check before ordering.
The knives are sold separate.
