Stripers test most freshwater tackle to the max, so Lew's designed the Mr. Striper Baitcast Combo to take on those tough fish. With strength being a focus, the rod's one-piece blank is made of a graphite/fiberglass composite to add extra durability without the extra weight. Everything about this rod is tough, from the double-footed stainless steel guides with polished stainless steel inserts, to the high-quality graphite reel seat with cushioned stainless steel hood. Durable, high-density EVA rear and fore grips provide a solid, comfortable hold, and the professional-style hook keeps comes in handy during storage and transport.

The round baitcast reel stands up to any test with a chrome-plated brass frame, anodized aluminum side plates, and a machined spool. The Adjustable Centrifugal Braking (ACB) system allows for accurate casts, and the sturdy, four-bearing drive system with three ball bearings and a Zero-Reverse one-way clutch bearing provides smooth retrieves. The combination carbon fiber/stainless steel drag system offers up to 13 lbs. of drag power, stopping those hard-fighting fish in their tracks. 100mm power handle with SoftTouch handle knobs makes for a comfy day on the water.
