Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the hassle Great sale price however the hassle that followed was definitely not worth it. When the delivery arrived it was missing all mounting hardware and brackets except for one rod. After several back and forth communications with CW Lippert had agreed to send the mounting kit express service. I received it via next day UPS which was great. The bad part was Lippert sent the incorrect mounting rods as they were too short. After several days of back and forth with them the agreed to send the correct ones to me in good faith. In good faith??? You sent me the wrong ones to begin with! 11 days later they arrived. The instructions are terrible. I still had to purchase additional stainless screws that were not included. So 5 weeks after ordering I had everything needed to install. I will be looking at another brand for the other side of the camper. Michelle with customer service was great even refunded my shipping charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solera slideout awning The product itself is great! However, I suggest that anyone installing themselves - which is very easy - do the following: 1. Verify all the parts are there, especially the screws. I was shy 4 screws for mounting the awning holder on the side of the RV and one set screw. Getting LCI, the manufacturer was TERRIBLE. Although I bought from Camping World, it was shipped direct from LCI. The customer service at LCI was anything but good. They finally did send me the missing items but I felt they did so very reluctantly, after saying I should get from Camping World. 2. Watch some installation videos on YouTube. The ones posted by eTrailer are especially good and give extra hints to make an easy job even easier and less stressful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Purchase of RV awning (and untimely delivery of) I cannot rate the product itself because after ordering one month ago, I have yet to receive it. My rating is based upon the service (i.e. delivery of the product). I have received three subsequent changes in date of delivery. Please keep in context: when I twice called the Gander customer service over the recent weeks to inquire about the delivery of the product, they were courteous and helpful. I understand the problem is with the manufacturer who will directly ship the product to me. However, I would suggest better communication between Gander and the vendor is necessary to provide the customer with more accurate delivery schedules and to improve the timeline of those schedules.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Relatively Easy install The instructions do not tell you to remove the shipping pins, so on the first movement of the slideout, I started pulling the hardware from the wall. Other than that it was very easy to install with minimal tools. I installed it in under an hour. Which made me very mad to get quoted $400 for the install from an RV shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install Easy to install and looks and works great. You will need a second person, but only to put the actual slider on. Tons of videos on-line that show how easy it is to install. I did not use a marker to mark a level line, I just used a 10 foot straight 2x4. worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slide out awning installation. Very good quality. It was easy to install with two people. I went on you tube and watched the video from etrailer and it was on the Solera Slider awning. i installed the mounting hardware in about 20:00 min. I went back to the trailer the next day with my daughter and we installed the awning. I removed the retainer clips and it works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and easy So far, so good! The install could not have gone better. The instructions were fairly clear and all the parts were included to do the job. All I needed was a cordless drill, a few drill bits, a couple of screw drivers, a countersink bit, some butyl tape for sealing, a couple of allen wrenches and some spray silicone for making the beaded edge of the topper slide easily into the track. Here's an old boat builders tip: countersink the holes you drill into the fiberglass before driving in the screws! This keeps the gel-coat from cracking. A second set of hands is really nice to have when doing the final slide in and install, the topper can be quite heavy/bulky. I will not have a chance to see how the topper performs in bad weather yet, the rig is still in storage , however, the construction and design seems very good.

I am purchasing a replacement for one that was damaged. The cut length of the fabric is 7'1". Is the proper one to order 7'6"

Asked by: Matt
If that is the flange to flange measurement, then yes, that is the correct one to order

Hi there. Is the rail & butyl seal tape(for water proofing) included when deliver?

Asked by: june
No, a complete topper (fabric, roller assembly, and hardware) will be received. The only extra item that would need to be purchased separately is some sealant to water proof the fasteners used to secure the mounting brackets.

Since you have to choose a size that extends a minimum of 5” beyond your box width, the best option we have available is the 8’ 6”.
