Master Mount Fixed TV Mount is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent mount This is an excellent mount that allows easy and fast removal of TVs from the wall during transit. The only problem is the plate you attach to the back of the TV is not big enough for the holes to line up. The max distance between the holes is about 5 inches, where the distance between the holes on the TV are about 11. I had to make an adapter out of wood flooring and it works great. I used flooring because it's strong and thin.

WILL THE BACK SLIDE INTO AN OUTSIDE MOUNT?

THE OUTSIDE MOUNT THAT WE HAVE HAS TWO HOLES AND OUR INSIDE MOUNT WILL SLIDE INTO THE OUTSIDE MOUNT.
    Asked by: CRYSTAL
Yes, this mounting bracket is a two piece sliding configuration as you are describing. The back plate is installed to the TV, the dead/wall plate is mounted to the wall. The TV's plate slides in to the wall plate and is 'locked' in place by 2 screws on the bottom.

    Is this mount two pieces?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, this mount is two pieces. One is mounted to the wall, the other goes to the back of the TV. The TV mount slides in to the wall dead plate which are then screwed together.

What is a vesa and where do I find on my tv

    Asked by: Lafitte51
Check your TV's owner's manual for mounting guidelines. Most TVs are compatible with brackets that follow VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) standards. You'll see the word "VESA" followed by a number, which tells you how far apart the holes on the bracket or TV are in millimeters. For example, VESA 75 means that there are 4 holes in a square, and each side of the square is 75mm long. VESA 100/200 means that the holes are in a rectangle, with two sides measuring 100mm and two sides measuring 200mm. You should be able to find that information in the owner's manual, or you can measure the holes yourself to determine which VESA standard fits your TV. Many mounting brackets are compatible with more than one VESA standard, so finding one to fit your TV won't be difficult.

Is this mount suitable for a TV left mounted for traveling? What is the VESA Mounting pattern?

    Asked by: SusanVera
This is a fixed mount with a VESA pattern of 75 x 75 and 100x100. Since it is fixed, and so long as it is installed properly and securely, the TV can remain on the mount while the vehicle is in motion.
